"Absolute Bastard of a thing"
Absolute bastard of a thing. There is no point in giving me a reward if I can't use it. You can't use it on PayPal, you can't use it on Google pay even though the FAQ says you can, you can't use it with Revolut. You can't even gamble it away. It has no pin or contactless so you can't use it in a shop, all you can do is buy something online that is less than the value of the card and are inevitably left with a few Euro stuck on it. At this stage I'd rather pay the tax on a cash bonus
If you are a HR professional and somehow happen to read this you should reward your employees in a way that they can use easily to do something useful like buy a week's shopping. Even one4all cards can be used in supermarkets

"Awful experience with card which…"
Awful experience with card which couldn’t be added to my Apple Wallet due to card issuer as per Apple. I then asked for physical card which arrived but despite all efforts to register the card I’ve been unable to do so and find it keeps telling me that passwords don’t match or I didn’t sign T&C and when I do this it then tells me me something else. A nightmare.

"Fraudulent payments "
Customer service is disgraceful my card was used in different website's by fraudsters after I logged the concern for scam they answered back in a week time with 5 pages of forms to complete I was frustrated and advised them to unlock the card as I need the funds, after they unlocked it the card was again scammed by the same merchant and they advised me I lost the right to dispute the fraudulent payments in the future I have lost more than €150.00 euro and they could stop the fraudsters. Their response was:I am contacting you regarding your Perx case00050902 involving your digital card.
As you can see in the below thread, you agreed to have your card unlocked and by doing so you waived the right to dispute any further fraud transactions. This was explained to you as being the case if we unlocked the card before a dispute was raised.
Therefore unfortunately for thr fraud that has occurred on your card since 22/03/2025, you do not have the right to dispute this.
As your card has been compromised we can offer a free of charge replacement but this will only be for the funds remaining on the card - €874.63 . Please let us know if you wish for us to order this for you.

Bought cards from this company before rang today to order some more and they refused me dont know why! Everything was paid for and nothing wrong last time. Lady very dismissive and refused to tell me the reasons why! So went with swirl they are an amazing company to deal with.

"I have used my card online, won't work in any shops?"
I have used my card online and it was fine, I booked flights and accommodation. But I have been in three shops in a row and it won't work? Just says either declined or 'please remove card' when put in card machine? So how can I use in a shop? Nothing on website about activating for shops? It's clearly activaved if I used it for flights and booking hotel in another country?

Horrible unprofessional service. We tried to order cards days ago. Now response. Emailed a couple of times. Finally got a reply just saying they are updating the ordering process. No decent professional approach with info how long it will take. Very unprofessional service. Don't buy from them and don't waste your time

This truly is a scam.
I 'activated' my card about 2 years ago. I had so many failed attempts at using it online - many websites simply would not accept the card - that I gave up.
Recently I stumbled on the card again. I checked my balance and realised Perx had charged me monthly fees, whittling my originl gift down to almost nothing.
It gets better,
I attempted to spend what little remaining balance I had, only to learn that my card had expired for months. I contacted customer support. 24 Days later, by which time another Monthly Fee was taken, i am informed that informed that I need to pay a replacement fee of 7.50 for a new card.
I'm guessing another Monthly Fee, or two, will have disappeared by the time it arrives.
*Perx were 2 days in replying to a Trustpilot Review, yet took 9 days + 15 days to reply to my consumer queries.

I recieved this perx gift card from work at xmas it's a nightmare to activate has taken the good out of it password wrong? Then left out date of birth ? no such thing click submit and same thing again ring helpline and it's click this click that something wrong again? I would not buy a perx gift card ever it's still not activated it's a bloody disgrace 😤 WHY can't you make it simple? we are all not computer whizz kids I was asked have you got a computer handy ? Great help
