"Horrendous to deal with"
Horrendous to deal with. Trying to speak with someone for 2 weeks. Constantly unable to speak to anyone. Sent two emails and the initial response asking for card details after eight day was the reply. Subsequent response not received. Phoned just after Christmas, automated answer requesting contact details be left. No callback since.
To Perx, please provide details of Managing Directors so as to be able to make a complaint to. Currently looking at Consumer Rights legislation with a legal expert to see if rights can be enforced for myself and others affected.

Update: It took a few phone calls and emails to get to the right person to finally sort the issue but I am grateful for Larissa’s help.

My surname is invalid , it it as printed on the card & envelope, I have emailed no reply, I have asked for a call back - none received, I have been on hold yesterday & today both occasions for longer than 50mins, only to get an automated machine to tell me - that cannot take my call at this time, shocking customer service, I will not be using these cards again.

This is a joke, I have never had a problem with any other card except Perx,
I have done everything on numerous occasions and still can't activate this card
They don't answer the phone and the waiting time is 58 mins it's a disgrace
I sent email to them no reply either, My employer said they will never use them again ad it's no unfair to have people spending hours trying to do something that should be simple
Interesting to see will I get a reply here !

"Dreadful Customer Service "
As an employer with 25 staff we decided again against my better judgement(similar issues last year) to order cards for our staff. NEVER AGAIN.
I had ordered a card in November for a staff member leaving and they imposed a seperate charge holding the card for three weeks without an email or call to explain why...my further order was placed and they decided to fund the charge out of the main staff order...pending 25 cards all held over for one small amount...so no cards for our staff party...absolutely shocking customer service through a call centre in the Philippines...no manager call backs as requested...assurances that the cards would be dispatched the following day...never happened...called them every day for a week...useless service. STAY AWAY from this company...I have been a customer for over 10 years but never again.

Single worst payment service ever created. Terrible user interface, hard to follow instructions, pathetic systems with continous errors. Customer service is an absolute joke. If you are an employer giving your employees these a benefit then you hate your employees. Avoid at all costs

Saying invalid surname on the verification page. I've tried every possible variation of it, caps, not caps, apostrophes, no apostrophes, spaces, no spaces and every possible mix of eveything, just won't work. Can't get through on the phone. If you request a call back they won't call back. If you email they won't respond. I really don't understand why employers are choosing to use this company. Second year in a row with issues. A couple of days out from Christmas, people want/need to use these cards. Terrible service and product.
Got through on the phone this morning. Got fobbed off by the customer care rep, passing the issue on to someone else who will make contact in 3-5 business days apparently yet a colleague who had the same issue, presumably because of the apostrophe in their name, had the card activated with no issue by the customer care rep they got through to. Terrible continuity of service.
