I agree, there should be a rating of "-10"!
Shuttle Central constantly sent me notes that everything is ready and I will be picked up on time at the airport in Cancun (Mexico). The moment we landed in Cancun and I got mobile reception again, I saw their message "The purpose of this message is to let you know that unfortunately due the high volume of operations we have on destination and a shortage of vehicles caused by COVID consequences, we wont be able to provide the ARRIVAL service. Please accept our more sincere apologies for this situation."
It turned out that a) there was plenty of transportation available and b) we just took one of many taxis to our hotel in Playa del Carmen for USD 50 (which is even cheaper)!
We will never book through Shutte Central again !!

There should be an option for zero stars. My reservation for 10 ppl never happened. To and from the airport. When my party of 10 arrived the "company"was there, but they said they didnt have a bus big enough for us and that the hotel was too far. They said they emiled me the day before to inform me of the cancellation, LIES, LIES, LIES...the email I received was in fact a confirmation for pick up, never did they inform me of any changes. This company is definetly a SCAM, they have arragements like this so that at the end you end up with a taxi that charges you double which I'm pretty sure belongs to them. I'm still waiting on a refund which Expedia is trying to work on because they cant get a hold of them either. Expedia should not allow this type of compnies on their websites.

If ZERO stars was a option that is the one I would have selected. Do not use shuttle sent you as transportation at all, as they allow people to be scammed at the airport and resorts. SCAMMERS; they give your name to other transportation services that are doing pickups at your time, they will go to your resort and have your name on a paper that states they are supposed to pick you up( although not Private transport like paid for) after leaving your resort and speaking with another rep the driver still via a translator inform you that you are be charged a fee and refuses to let you out unless you pay 60$US. In calling Shuttle Central: NO ONE ANSWERED, Sent a Email was told They were conducting a investigation and would contact they other parties for a solution, that took a week and a half. Then was called on a Sunday saying “it was my fault that I went with another driver although you have my name on the paper. no refund will be given and I should be more cautious, that is what I was told 7/25/21

"Terrible company"
Terrible company. Left us stranded twice! Said they were overbooked and wouldn't be coming last minute. Be careful, this company takes more jobs then they have vans, then they pick and choose which ones are worth more to them. Chose them and be prepared to: 1.Be left stranded 2. Have no phone number to call and no way to communicate with them. 3. Pay 3 times as much getting a cab last minute. 4. Fight and not receive a refund from them for months. SCAM anyone?

Had to cancel my shuttle pick up due to covid outbreak. Still getting run around about my refund.

"This has got to be the worst company to…"
This has got to be the worst company to try and communicate with. their office is in Mexico not in Jamaica which makes it virtually impossible to contact anybody. After several hours of attempting to confirm a pickup reservation I gave up told them to cancel but they would NOT refund any portion of the round trip price I paid for.
Totally unprofessional company.

Avoid at all costs!
We prepaid for a group of 6 for transport to and from Tulum. Getting down was fine. For the return trip I spoke with the company the day before leaving, to confirm pick up time and location.
On the day we were leaving, they called 90 minutes before pick up time to say they weren't coming. No reason why, no time to get another shuttle company, and we had already paid! You can not trust this company!

Left us stranded in Aruba at 10:00 pm. I emailed them earlier to give them all my flight info they told me they would be there to look for someone with my name. When we landed no one was there walked around looking for 30 min. They didn’t give me any contact information. No one at the airport ever heard of shuttle central. Do not recommend!
