I was forced to throw away my SG5 which I had for over 15 years. I bought a Pro 5 for about $400.. I'm not thrilled with it at all. It takes a long to to start up, and the display is confusing and takes a while to get used to. If I had to do it again, I would not have got the Pro 5, but rather a lower model.

I renewed my membership #496-S00000312912 a week later they wiped my device that is not Wi-Fi enabled it is impossible to contact them my advice don’t do business with them, my next job is to sue them in the small claims court as they sent confirmation above and did not honour it

"Poor registration and obvious geographical issues"
Recently purchased Sky Caddie SX400 as a stand alone GPS system.
The unit was great, however, on initial registration set up via the Register icon, does not connect to anything.
Just provides a hyperlink, showing a web address which cannot be fully read, due to constraints of portrait screen.
I therefore sought answers for registration via the Sky Caddie web site. I am located in the UK, and their software doesn’t differential geographical regions, so I inadvertently set up my registration on what I know know was the US site.
This registration would not link and sync to the SX 400 unit, so I then discovered the UK Sky Caddie site, and tried to log onto this. The software recognised it had my details, and said it looks like I have an account, and auto routed me once again to the US site.
I sought support from Snainton Golf, where I purchased the unit from, and whilst they sell the unit, the support for the software comes from another company.
Having gone through this on a brand new unit, I lost any confidence in the product. Everyone expects things like registration to be seamless and stress free.
The sky caddie software should immediately differential geographical regions, this is just common sense, and not brain science.
Following these issues, I found a pretty consistent theme of software issues with support with the company’s products.
Finally, when I was able to get onto the registration portal, the web information did not correctly align with the iPhone screen.
Very disappointing for what I considered to be a premium product.
I sent the unit back for a refund, life is too short to spend time seeking support on brand new, out of the box products.

"Very Happy with SkyCaddie"
I have used a SkyCaddie for many years and have always been impressed with how accurate they are and how fast they update while on the courses. I would think that with all the competition out there that you would lower the subscription costs. Also, I am disappointed that I will no longer be able to have both models I own on my account starting in February 2025. I have occasionally had to use my backup when the current ran out of charge.
