"Horrible assistance after selling"

Horrible assistance after selling. I paid 100€ for shipping back 2 luxury leather jackets (from Barcelona to Manchester) Before I bought 6 jackets. They did not take care about the regular customers at all!
Suddenly, after COVID-19 they offer “free worldwide returns”. Sad and cheap. Never again! I have the mail tickets and all the invoices. So, I hope you think twice before report my opinion again. COVID change your ways a lot and all the team was really disgusting when I asked for a free return. Was the first luxury shearling collection. Check in my account BODA and be responsable. You deserve 1 STAR, it is MY OPINION, likes you or not.

I have nothing but good to say about this company. Right from the start when I wasn't sure what size to get. They helped me pick the size. They go above and beyond right from the get go. U receive ur package and its personalized. U open it and its packed inside a nice canvas bag with a card. The product itself is so well made. Will be buying again.

"The Dream Leather Jacket"

I have been wanting the Kay Michaels for a while and mainly concerned about the sizing vs. being on the pricey side. I bit the bullet and contacted Bodaskins for help in the sizing and Lily was absolutely amazing with the advice. I was thinking I should size down to XS like the models in the pic but Lily told me I should go for S. I am 84cm (chest) 70cm (waist). I bought the S as she recommended and I absolutely love it! The leather is so smooth, the hardware detail is on point, the fit is so good. Most of all this jacket in terms of design is the kind of jacket you envision when you think of a leather jacket... it’s the dream leather jacket. If you’re reading this and wondering if you should buy it or not, just do it, it’s worth every pound.

I recently purchased a shearing jacket from Boda Skins. I've followed and been a fan of the brand for some time and was happy to get my hands on my first piece. I had several questions about the jacket and size/fit that would be right for me.
I interacted with Lily, one of their customer service specialists. Lily was amazing and helped me every step of the way with all of my queries. Needless to say I love my jackets and the fit is perfect.

"Intense B/S experience"

This is going to be a long one, so for those who don't want to read the whole thing the summary of my intense one-month Boda experience is: BODA SKINS are great!

Now, I have already ordered Boda jacket back in 2017 but it didn't suit me, for one reason or the other. Ever since I have been silently following them and when opportunity arrised I ordered Kay Michaels Platinum in sizes M and L. Now, as it's really difficult to order (expensive) clothes online I have ordered both sizes to see which one feels better. Here I will say that the sizing guidlines on Boda website aren't really correct (at least not in my case).
I'm 180cm, 79kg, chest 108cm. That's between L and XL UK size for Boda. Now, you may find it weird reading my measurements and comparing them to Boda guidelines but I really had a hard time deciding between M and L size. I opted for L size because of armpit (that section doesn't stretch with time) and M felt a tiny bit too tight (even though 10% leather stretching was very tempting as well). That being said, using the second zipper I could zip it all the way up while having thick Superdry hoodie underneath. Make of that what you will, but if I followed guidlines I would've opted for XL size which would be way too large for me.
The look, feel and quality of the jacket is great, but you've read it elswhere as well.

Then, after a couple of weeks an opportunity arrised to grab a jacket that I had my eyes on as soon as I saw it for the first time: Asteroid.
Only M and L sizes were available, so I ordered L size.
Now, one thing where Boda should improve is implementing size guides for every specific jacket type (biker, bomber, etc.), because the fit for Asteroid and Kay Michales, although the same size, is VERY different.
The Asteroid is a much looser, spacier jacket, very different to an almost tailor-fitted KM. There's much more room in the shoulder/chest area, sleeves, armpits. Luckily, this type of jacket almost welcomes a slight oversize so this isn't an issue for me.
All shearling jackets allow for some oversizing as sometimes it makes them feel/look even more luxurious, and Asteroid isn't an exception. After all, it's a winter jacket, you don't want to expose your kidneys and/or arms to the chill.
I'm sure M size would fit me as well, while XL would be too big (even for shearling jacket).
The jacket in itself is sensational!
Kay Michales is wonderful jacket, but Asteroid is something else (as prices suggest, I must say); soft, luxurious, great understated design, top notch manufacturing. It's simply awesome.

As you can see, in my case, if you're in between sizes, size DOWN, not UP.

I have also ordered engraving and it came with wrong text. I have contacted customer service and the replacement was sent ASAP. It arrived yesterday and now everything is right.
Sending jackets back for return/exchange is simple and smooth - painless.

Lastly I want to give huge thumbs up for B/S customer service (Lucy and Lily) and thank them for patience, kind words and cooperation. They are the best customer service I have encountered so far in my life (35 yrs).
