It took an additional month to get my rose, due to damage by FedEx in shipping. The rose arrived a few days ago, and it is in excellent condition. The root system is strong and even; the branches are quite thick and are beginning to bud out. I think the rose will do very well this year, and I can't wait to see how it looks in June!

"There was no "warning" for shipment"

There was no "warning" for shipment. I only received an email when they were shipped. I have noticed other live plant companies will email and let me know a shipment is being prepared then give an approximate date of shipping. If this is not a convenient ship date, I can request a delay. I find this to be very helpful since it requires a significant amount of time to plant the roses as per specifications.
The first and second shipment arrived in good condition, however the third shipment arrived in relatively poor condition. The roses were dry and I have my doubts if they will survive. This was particularly disappointing, since the four Munstead Wood were part of the third shipment. I had ordered the Munstead Wood in September, since every year they are sold out and I was looking forward to adding to another garden. Munstead Wood is by far the most beautiful rose I have ever grown, but all of David Austin Roses are beautiful.
