"My EV charger installation went without…"

My EV charger installation went without a hitch.
Chose the charger I wanted, the price was clear and easy to understand, communication by email was clear and answered all my questions.

I had to complete a survey and video to show my electric meter location and where I wanted the charger and the run of the cable from my electric meter to the charger location I wanted on my drive.

I've spoken with some of my friends who are considering EV chargers and people don't seem to understand that you have a cable to consider, it is run on the outside of your house, to your charger..... it needs to have power.

When the engineer attended we discussed the charger location and the work required, cable run, we agreed everything and off he went to undertake the installation.

I couldn't have been more pleased, good communication, nice, neat, clean installation, charger works well, engineer walked me through the app, very happy overall.

Would recommend Energise Energy Solutions.

"Smart meters installation."

Wish to register my thanks to your engineer Minh who fitted smart meters on behalf of Octopus for me this week.
For various reasons it was not a simple job for the electric meter , indeed Octopus sent someone previous week who was unable (or unwilling) to carry out the job with its complications.
By contrast Minh assessed the job , came up with the best solution and got on with the job. My meters have now gone live and enabled me to get on the Intelligent Octopus tarrif for Charging my EV.
Many thanks again to Minh for doing an excellent job!

"Excellent Customer Service"

I had an Easee EV charger installed by EES last September. I've had a couple of issues with it and on each occasion, they've come out within a day or 2 and sorted it first time (Unlike Easee themselves who take at least 24hrs to respond and ask you to try all the troubleshooting steps you've told them you've already tried...!!)
Really friendly customer service and engineers!
Very glad I chose them to install in the first place!

"Useless"

Had an EV charge point installation booked in with them through Octopus. The installation was booked for the 1st November, which was then pushed back to Friday the 3rd, no problem. I was then called by Energise to see if they could come on the Thursday, I said that's fine if you can do it before 2:30pm. They said the installer had one other install booked in and he would let them know. By 1:30pm I had heard nothing, so I called the office which rang out twice before being answered. The guy said he would check where the van was, said he was on the move and would call him. When he came back to me, said the installer was delayed but was en route and would be with me in 30 min. 20 min later the installer called me to say he was setting off and would be with me in 1hr 9 min. Taking it to 3:10pm. Said don't bother as I wont be in and its not fair to leave my 16 year old son to deal with this while I was out. So why the person in the office lied is beyond me.

I called the office, and again the phone just rang out 4 or 5 times when I did get through they advised it would be the 16th November before they could fit me in. Obviously, this is unacceptable and with the evidence so far, probably won't happen. The guy said he would see what he could do to shuffle things around and call me back before the end of the day. Another false promise as no call was received. Absolute joke. They probably just deprioritise Octopus as they don't make as much money as when they sell direct.

Back to public network charging with NO IDEA when I will get my charger installed with Octopus having taken nearly £1k back on the 13th October.

The guy that came was polite, efficient and left a tidy location after the installation.
