While I was most happy with the installation and the product itself, it is only after 4 years that I have learned that the company will hit you up for a new scale solver tank to the tune of $1500 to $2000!!! No one ever pointed out that hidden expense when I purchased the system 4 years ago!!! So beware of what is NOT disclosed at the time of purchase. I don't think I would have bought it had I been made aware of the ongoing significant expense!!

The unit has NEVER worked at all for solving my hard water issues. Not even close and their advertising regarding this is completely false. The unit does provide clean water and if you do not have hard water then it will work fine. But the rip-off comes regarding the replacement of the charcoal filter. I was told at purchase that the filter would process 1.7 million gallons and then should be replaced at a cost of around $700 for the new filter. Mine lasted about 7 years, which seems reasonable. NOW, however, they say that I need to buy a whole NEW unit for around $3,000 because replacing the filter is not an option anymore. So I will now go ahead and replace my whole system, but it will NOT be with a LifeSource system as there are other, lower priced, reliable units out there sold by more honest companies.

My tract of homes have been having pin hole leaks in plumbing under the house slabs. I haven't had the problem because I'm using Life Source.

I was very pleased with the communication of the rep in setting up a consultation, ordering and then installing a system. Also the paperwork was straight forward and they kept on top of it so I didn’t have to and that made the process smooth as well. So far the water seems clear and soft and we’ve had no water stains like we did in the other place we lived in the same neighborhood that has the same water source.
