Went into zatchels in York was looking at all the different backpacks and bags for men Tammy the shop assistant was very friendly very helpful and not pushy at all and explaining it was an independent company and made all the products based in Leicester with a few Staff of around five people
I like to support the independent retailers
I purchased a backpack, but I wanted the straps slightly longer. It was no problem. Tammy put the request in the small family company made them extra long and sent them out to me. Excellent service. At no cost to myself
The service in the shop to the aftercare was second to none which will prompt me to go back to the shop or order online 100% to have a tailored bag made
Highly recommend zatchels and Tammy is an asset to your shop…..

The lady in store was very helpful ordering the bag for me as it wasn’t in stock. Other stores just say check online. It arrived in a couple of weeks and loved the colour and the quality. My only issue was I thought the shoulder strap was too narrow for the size of bag and as i plan to use as a cross body bag didn’t feel secure. Apart from that I love it and very pleased with it.

Zatchels are AMAZING! We ordered one of their backpacks for a special event my wife was going to, and had some specific requests. I reached out to Zatchels and was almost imediately emailed back by Brian, he confirmed they could do the requests we had made, and to just order the item from their website with a little note in the order comments. I did so, and waited for delivery. Unfortunately there was a slight issue with the shipping, and when I emailed Brian again he immediately called me to sort something out, it ended in my wife popping in to their workshop to collect the bag as we needed it for the next day, and she had a wonderful time meeting the team and seeing how the bags are made!
As for the bag... The colours were exactly what my wife wanted, the quality is superb, the care and detail that evidently goes into it really does shine through, and their service is exceptional. A genuine small business with a geuninely wonderful team, and a beautiful product. Could not be happier.

Order took a little longer to dispatch than 10 days, but I contacted customer service and they responded quickly, it was dispatched the next day and arrived with FedEx.

Bag is flawless, has more pockets than expected and loved the little Certificate of Authenticity advising who made it and the dustbag!

I cannot tell you how wonderful this company is! I order a bag that was on sale last Friday, without realising the the sale bags were also handmade to order. Upon realising later that evening, I sent an email to customer servives asking if I could change to a bag they had in stock at there seconds shop. I also sent a message via instagram. At 7:30 in the evening I received email from Brian saying the Magenta bag I ordered was too beautiful to change and asked when I need the bag for. I explained I was hoping to take it on holiday the following Saturday and it was a treat for my 50th birthday. He said it wasn't a problem and they would have the bag to me within the week. I later received a facebook message from Tammy asking if I had an email from Brian. By Monday I had tracking and an email from Brian saying it was on its way. Tuesday my beautiful new bay arrived. I own my own company and this is the kind of excellence I hope my clients receive too. Thank you zatchels you have made my year 🩷🩷🩷

I was a little cautious, buying from a website I'd not used before. However I read the reviews and made an order. I was not disappointed. When the satchel arrived, my wife decided she'd like a handle on it. Dealing with customer services and returning the satchel for fitting of a handle was trouble free and an enjoyable experience.

This company is amazing and I have never had a happier wife than she is when she receives these bags....she has 2 already and so many on her wish list. The customer service is amazing also, I was concerned when I ordered a bag that it was not going to arrive for an event and I was stressing yet they made sure the bag was on time and I gained my brownie points and also the quality for the price is second to none!! amazing company and fellas if you are looking to please your lady with a new bag this is the place my wife is inundated with compliments about hers!!
