"Often a business can’t be judged on…"

Often a business can’t be judged on when things go well, but when things go wrong; this is when you can really see what they are made of. So here’s my experience.

Sent in a frame to be reglazed. Pack came quickly, and off went the frames. A few weeks to wait (this isn’t their fault, my prescription precludes stock lenses so they always have to be manufactured to order), and my glasses arrive back. Sadly, the frames were damaged. This is a potential risk of reglazing processes, and had been missed in quality control.

Contacted them and they couldn’t have been more apologetic. We discussed a resolution I was satisfied with, which I paid a little extra to replace the frame, and they remade my lenses as well. Great stuff.

When they arrived, they were absolutely perfect. The new frame is exactly as expected, and the lenses are just as good too. Overall, I have no complaints from my experience, and despite a snag along the way; they looked after me as a customer. I’m that satisfied, that I’ve sent another pair for reglazing. I think that shows they have my confidence.

So something went wrong, they put it right without quibble, I felt valued as a customer, and they’ve got more orders from me. So there we go. I’d recommend them to others, and already have.

Thoroughly impressed and satisfied with my new lenses. They were half the price of the ones my local opticians quoted and I think they’re actually better quality than my previous Nikon pair. The ordering process could do with some streamlining, but this did not detract from an otherwise excellent experience.
