I simply cannot believe the reviews I am reading! Do the Lego group truly believe that slapping a license on a product means they can ride rough-shod over all customers? Then treat them in such a despicable manner!

"Not the Iconic Lego company I had expected"
I had thought I was buying from a reputable company but now I know not to buy online from them again.
I had ordered a Lunar Module for my sons ‘special Christmas present’ and the incorrect item arrived. I contacted them and they said unfortunately they had sold out and sent me documentation for a refund as well as saying good luck sourcing the item from a local toy store. Luckily I rushed out and got one of the two left at a large chain but I am still awaiting the refund of £89.99 (which to us is a significant amount). I contacted them again last week and was told it would be refunded by the 18th Jan so we will see. On seeing other reviews I am now worried I may not see my money. How can a company justify taking your money instantly but taking 6 weeks to return it when they have received the goods.
Like many here I would urge people to try and source their Lego locally as this was not a pleasant consumer experience.

Didn't get the free gift and contacted customer service. They said I needed to spend £150 + VAT. Questioned this in store and they said I would have got the gift. Returned to customer service, and they asked for the store and rep names so they could correct them. Feel totally fobbed off. I was a very loyal customer for nearly 50 years, but feel I have been lied to - never buying from Lego online again.

I have experienced more issues than I can even remember with my latest orders:
1. First order never arrived, still unclear where it went to this day - unable to re-ship as then out of stock
2. Another order was initially cancelled due to incorrectly counting the above cancelled order in purchase limits
3. Label not printed correctly - delaying delivery by a week
4. Courier ignored confirmed delivery date and location, instead delivering on a different day to a far away Parcel Shop
5. Delays to receiving items where they could be re-ordered.
6. Non-receipt of nearly a whole order because Parcel Shop chosen too far away, and not in stock to re-order.
7. On a general note - they are really slow to dispatch items, regardless of exclusivity
Terrible experience, so much time wasted on chat.
I personally strongly recommend avoiding buying from LEGO directly wherever possible, I wholeheartedly believe that the VIP points / occasional gift aren't worth the stress. I would suggest John Lewis, supermarkets and Argos for good deals and simple transactions.

"Onderdelen service van Lego is waardeloos!"
Al sinds 1 december probeer ik 4 onderdelen opgestuurd te krijgen uit een vrij dure Lego Technics doos. Ze hadden de verkeerde onderdelen in de doos zitten. Wel een mail gehad dat ze verstuurd zouden zijn maar nooit ontvangen. De onderdelen zouden binnen 10 werkdagen bezorgd moeten zijn. Nu aangegeven dat ik niets heb ontvangen en het duurt alweer dagen voor er gereageerd wordt.
