I would rate zero star if that is an option! It is a nightmare to work with Terminix. When they signed us up, they said we could cancel the contract if we move. We moved, but contract cannot be cancelled. And worse, we called many times to tell them we won't renew, including one month before the contract expiration date. They renewed our contract anyways. They said we called in December to cancel, which is too early. We must call on Jan 24th to cancel! Of course, we called before and after, those calls didn't count! We kept receiving bills, and repeatedly told them the same thing: we don't live there anymore and we wanted to cancel. Unbelievable!!! I spent hours and hours talking to them regarding this! From last December to middle of April, our account is finally cancelled. I would never use Terminix again.

I would give terminex zero or negative if I could! They quoted me $5000 to take care of our post issues plus $150 per month. Post issues still on going, they have not sealed up everything they said they would. I have called countless times to have this taken care of but no response after 10 months! Finally a manager came out last but still have not heard anything back. We can hear critters at night and have birds in the soffit they were supposed to take care of.
I also paid an extra $700 to have my deck sealed to keep the bee population down and keep my deck from being eaten up.... guess that was a waste of $700!
Still waiting for a response, I guess I need to take legal action.

"I called them for the racoon family…"
I called them for the racoon family living in my attic. The inspector told me that the entire attic needed to be stripped of insulation, cleaned, sanitized and reinsulated for $12,000. Yup, $12,000. They have financing at 15%. Gee thanks. I said I can't afford that; I am getting new windows in May. The salesman, yes, that is what he was, told me that maybe I wasn't going to get new windows. After talking to other people, I realized how absolutely ridiculous this all was. I called a local wildlife control company and they told me that there was no evidence of them being in over half of my attic and there was no need to strip out all of the insulation. They took care of the animals, sealed up holes in the soffit, and cleaned it out for $2200.

"Disappointed and out thousands"
Wish I could give this zero stars. Took thousands of dollars from us, gave us only dollar store mouse traps, foam fill and no attic insulation replacement where they themselves photographed mice nesting. Do not expect to reach anyone locally. Do not expect any responsiveness. After waiting over a month for insulation, I was approved for a significant refund from regional office for work not completed. It was denied by the local office manager who preferred a grudge as opposed to customer satisfaction. Read reviews. They take advantage of customers and then gaslight them. I lost thousands. They have no pricing until visiting your home and making the situation sound catastrophic. Call and ask what mouse exclusion costs. No set figure. They make it up as they see the home where you live and the cars in the driveway. I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t experienced it. Don’t use this company.

"NEVER Call Terminix"
If you are experiencing an infestation of any kind in your home or business, NEVER EVER call Terminix. I work with various contractors in the commercial and residential construction industry around the country and have never had a worse experience than what I had with Terminix.
I called them out to my home because I had mice running around and needed help getting rid of them. I signed up with Terminix for $1300 to take care of everything. After signing up, I never heard from them again. After a few months, I called and cancelled but they were telling me I still owed the total amount. I have called them multiple times and every time they don't give me a straight answer. I get automated calls everyday saying that my account is past due. On top of that, the inspector lied about seeing evidence of mice in an area in the basement that upon later inspection, was clean and clear. They are scammers and have given me the biggest headache out of any company I've ever dealt with. My advice would be to look to local pest control contractors because they will provide the best service.

"The worst company I have ever done…"
The worst company I have ever done business with and I am 60 years old. Paid for a rat inclusion. They only did 80% and now refuse to come back out and finish. Contract says they will set rat traps. No rat traps because the inclusion is not done. No one will call you back even corporate phone number not working. The funny thing is I get text on how did we do from Terminix. I wish I used someone else. Lastly salesman that I signed contract refuses to call me back. A bunch of crooks use someone else!!!!

"No loyalty"
No loyalty, no customer service mixed with total lack of responsibility. I have been using this company for termite control for over 23 years. I never receive a monthly invoice.when paying on their website they take the amount they want you to pay, not your contract amount. When you call to have these charges corrected they “have no ability to give refunds “…. When you ask for management “they can’t help you”… when asking for the name of your area manager “ they are not allowed to give you that information “…what can they do? Fill out a request to have the manager contact you. This takes up to 48 hours. Either the manager was not informed, has no concept of time, is busy with other unsatisfied customers or just doesn’t care I will never know. 🤷♀️. I will go elsewhere in search of customer service and consistent billing along with trustworthy accounting.

"As i am reviewing the terminix site"
As i am reviewing the terminix site, i see so many customers have rated you at one (1) star. And, now i know why.
We contracted with you for services on January 2, 2024 to eradicate what was diagnosed a localized bedbug problem affecting our master bedroom bed and living room couch.
We were told that after several treatments, the living room couch was safe; however, we knew for ourselves that our bedroom was still affected. I have asked each and every single time your pest control "specialist" has come, "is it safe to sit on the couch?" "Is there to be resolution soon?" "Is this typical for the length of time in this process?". Every time i'm told "yes". Sitting on my living room couch just now, a bed bug walked by me!!! So, clearly, our couch is not a safe area. And, fyi, i don't even go into my bedroom and haven't since Jan 2nd!!!
We used to get treatment progress reports. They stopped coming even when i requested them. I have repeatedly contacted the technician who initially diagnosed us and took our payment of $2200.
Terminix has requested a service review a few times since this began. I wanted to wait and give it time to see the outcome before providing any review. I am positive i can provide one now.
We have lived in sealed plastic carpenter bags for the last three months. We have washed the few clothing and linen items we have repeatedly, as requested.
How do you do business with a clear conscience, taking a lot of money from desperate people to provide a service via technicians that are not communicative, instructive, proficient, careful? My husband had to tell the technician that the bugs were hiding in other crevices of our bed frame. Only then, did the technician reach down and shine a light on what my husband believed happening. The technician only then considered being more prudent and looked a bit closer to find more bugs harboring in the frame. Why is a customer responsible for telling the professional "you're missing something."?

"Poor Service"
Hi. This is on October 9, 2023, we had them come to spray for bugs and they were here for 45 minutes if that. and we paid the $1600.00. The guys told us to call back in 3 weeks if we see bugs again. We call made appointment. And they canceled. They said they called us but I didn't get a call. And now it is March 19. 2024. I have been email a girl name Kara and I told her I wanted my money back and she told me they don't give refunds at her branch. So, I told her I wanted her Boss and Headquarter phone numbers, so could call them. We are still waiting, still No email or No phone numbers. So upset with this company. Thanks'
