"Top notch good customer service"
I have been with VentraIP for many years and have multiple websites hosted with them. I recommend these guys to my clients all the time. They're Australian based, their customer service is exemplary and they are always super helpful and knowledgeable. They have got me out of a couple of scrapes when sites hosted elsewhere were hacked.

I find it really strange that there are reviews about bad service or people being rude - it makes me thing these are fake reviews. I was with Crazy Domains for 6 years before an IT guy put me onto Ventra IP. Honestly it's like night and day, in my 3 year experience with them I have found them to be just incredible. The service is fantastic - the help desk is in Australia and instead of being filled with 'script readers' these are genuinely real techs that know their stuff. Honestly I can't fault them. So I would question these bad reviews as they are so far from my experience in dealing with Ventra over 3 years.

"Not User-Friendly and Poor Customer Service"
Was trying to review the website builder templates but were not able to unless you transfer your domain to them, so not very user friendly. Waited on the chat for 30mins for a live agent but no one answered so I decided to call instead. The agent I spoke to named Brad was in a hurry and quite curt, just a one word answer to my question and said he doesn't make the rules andit is what it is. I am glad we are not a customer and after this experience, perhaps we will never be a customer after all.

Terrible customer service and a rude "live agent". Having issues with web hosting for months and still no resolution. Only interested on upgrading plan. Someone from customer service was meant to call to review the situation but has not happened even after sending reminders.

Ventraip email our business constantly threatening that our domain name will be cancelled. I have blocked them multiple times but it continues. We have never had any business with this company and I am totally over deleting and blocking their unsolicited emails.

As a new-ish customer, Ventra has been great in helping me set up and migrate my domains and emails to the hosting platform. I feel like they care and respond efficiently. I look forward to final configurations and getting everything running.

"I tried to change hosting plans…"
I tried to change hosting plans to one of the newer, cheaper plans and the staff member I spoke to declared it "discount abuse" and said I wasn't allowed to. They have zero respect for existing customers, and won't seriously consider doing anything to help if it isn't what they usually do.

"Great for a basic site"
Great for a basic site, with SQL usage but horrible email spam filters.
Basic web hosting has been great and support has been great, but when working with the free email built into cPanel, a LOT of emails get marked as spam and never delivered, can't even read the spam emails as they just get rejected by the mail server.
Only reccomendation was to upgrade to a full paid email plan :/

I have been with VentraIP for over 13 years. Any time I have had an issue, they have been quick to respond and offer immediate solutions. Very helpful. I run a small business with no tech staff and very little technical knowledge, so it is really important I can rely on my provider to offer quality support when things go wrong - all problems have been user error - not product problems.
