VentraIP is so good to work with! A sigh of relief comes over me every time a client has their domain and hosting with VentraIP (as a web designer) because I know the service will be quick, accessible to me, easy to do what I want, and pleasant. Truly recommend VentraIP to everyone.

"Ventra IP Reseller Service - Discontinued"

I was planning on purchasing more reseller hosting as I need to put up more websites online and they stopped providing the reseller service completely. I knew I had limited storage on my existing account so if I hit the 100GB which is not far off, I am screwed because I can't get a second reseller account.

I've been a customer for over 3 years and I got screwed hard. I opened up a ticket and asked if they can provide more resellers to existing clients and they just told me to go to another business which was their 'Sister company'.

In addition to that, the company that they are referring me to works completely different to them systematically and in terms of pricing. You can't just provide a service where customers are using it and next day you go 'Yeah mate no more resellers...off you go.' Especially if you're an established business.

Oh well, they lost...not me. Already found another Australian owned business who matched their prices and offered better specs.

Ive been using hosting providers since 1994. VentraIP are excellent.

I've used Compuserve, Ozemail, GoDaddy!, IXwebhosting, Namehost and others and I can say confidently that VentraIP are top notch. A local Aussie business. Great support. Good help. Good products. Solid performer. Trustworthy. Easy to use. Safer governance with Australian privacy & disclosure laws v's the USA where they can disclose 100% of all your data to authorities when requested!

I've hosted applications, wordpress, static sites, email, development on various VIP platforms for different companies and never had a problem.

The worse part was... I received a shot glass and Ventra printed playing cards as a gift one year. Ah...

We need more solid tech companies like VentraIP in Aus. Well done guys.

"Very difficult company to deal with"

Very difficult company to deal with - unprofessional, untrustworthy and unreliable. Started with a server for $4.95/mo, ended up getting moved to a new data centre with high ping then renewed at an insanely high rate of $49.95/Mo. No communication to me during this time. Requested service cancellation and explained I was never alerted of the price change, though still receiving invoices to this day. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy - save yourself the hassle and go with FlowVps instead.

I have been with these guys for half a decade now. The service always has great value and support response quite seamless and fast. I recently had a hefty sized fee waived due to a technical issue which I was really appreciative for.

Ventraip will lock all features if you have an overdue invoice, even if you have emailed them informing them the service is no longer required - prior to it being due. This means if you cancel a hosting service but want to renew a domain, you cannot.

Being a web designer I've gone through many providers & trying to find an affordable & reliable provider in Australia has been a challenge. VentraIP's server & support is fantastic! It's great to be able to pick up the phone and actually speak to someone in AUSTRALIA! :)
