everything is great except the speed. Spent nearly 2,000 on trying to get 'my slow website' faster only to find out its slow hosting. There TTBF is nealy at 1.2secs. this slow speed will badly affect your rankings

+ Customer Support - They're easily contactable and you get connected straight to an Aussie who can understand your problem and fix it right away without needing to send it to someone else or bounce you around a call centre. Their support team are very knowledgable and go above and beyond to help, even when it's beyond their responsibility (User errors).

+ Service & Tech - Their hosting is fast and rock solid. In the last 10 years I think it's only gone down maybe one or twice and only very briefly. That's amazing. You also get heaps of storage. Their online portal to manage your domains and hosting is great too, easy to use.

+ Price - They are not the cheapest, but you wouldn't want them to be. VentraIP's pricing is still extremely affordable, plus they don't have any scumbag hidden fees like charging you to make DNS edits.

+ Australian Owned and Managed - You're supporting the local economy and local jobs, that's a win for everyone.

I've been using VentraIP for a few years to host my business websites. There're only 2 enquiries during the whole time, one for email and one billing (downgrade, migration request). Every time I open an eTicket for enquiry they response within 1 hour. The issues are usually resolved within That day. Reasonable price tag with regular promotion plus top-notch service. I'm really happy with what I receive

VentraIP Blackmail you to renew services.

They do this by restricting ALL access to ALL domains, hosting etc, you cannot login to your cPanel to another account, if 1 invoice is outstanding, this means you cannot change DNS, Nameservers, check emails through the VentraIP portal until you cancel your service, and tick the "I confirm I have backed up all data, as it will be permendantly deleted"

The entire process is to absolutely blackmail you into renewing services, and paying the invoice. They also say you can "cancel services" to get your account back into affect so you can edit you domains etc by Cancelling the service, but then you need to go through and find that service to cancel.

Be careful, they get you with their cheap hostings initally, and then force you to renew or cancel and lock down your account until you do either.

Awesome support when you need it the most. Good prices and good servers. wait time on the phone is always less then 5 minuets. I've been hosting with them for over 2 years and very happy However make sure you don't have your email hosted with your webhosting because if something happens... like you going over your Cpanel limits, your email will stop working and you won't get any emails.

I find it astounding that VentraIP have anything less than 5 star average here. By far the best value for hosting and domains in Australia. Most importantly, their customer support is phenomenal. Sometimes support can be hit and miss, but it's honestly few and far between, and but you'll always get it resolved very quickly in the end anyway.
