Absolutely disgusting service. My claim has been ongoing for over 2 years with AXA and this company. No communication, relay on me to sort things out myself. I’m left with crack in my walls and they advised me to put “ caulk “ in it, it’s laughable. I cannot tell you how angry I am with this company and also AXA for having these represent them.

Following on from my 2nd complaint 2 weeks ago, today I finally had someone around to inspect the roof which is leaking in my spare bedroom and conservatory from subsidence which the claim has been going on for over 6 years and am now back at square one with
I had someone from Crawfords actually call me on Friday!! and they confirmed 100% temporary repairs would be completed at the same time (they even called the contractor to confirm)
So this morning comes around and the guy is here literally 5 minutes (doesn't even bother looking in the roof) and says the issue is due to the back wall pulling the guttering out of shape so the water isn't running away properly and instead coming in the property. Upon him heading out the door I ask is he not doing temporary repairs? to which he said no as he would be working for free....
I've taken (yet another) day off work for this. I've just tried calling Crawfords but after half an hour of god awful hold music my patience has run out. I would try emailing but after 6 years I'm fully aware that wouldn't get answered either...
Edit - forgot to mention that the guy sent was a handyman and not an engineer so how much subsidence knowledge he has is questionable

we bought an apartment via DNB and got offered to buy the insurance for legal help with a company called (Crawco). when we found some faults in our apartment that the previous owner did not inform us about we contacted them.
Had from day 1 been incompetent and not very helpful. and through two years we felt that they basically have done nothing about it. we had to call every time we needed an update and to push them to do their job.
Our case was never handled by an actual lawyer. but by a guy who calls himself a case handler.
long story short we were informed that they have decided that it is a weak case and they do not see the point of taking it. and we dont like it we can complain. we did send a complaint to find out that they did not get it as their email service was under maintenance. when we informed them they said there is nothing they can do and that their job is over !!! since they didn't get the complaint before the dead line. seeing their reviews from other people's experiences it seems like this is a repetitive issue and we are not the only one they did that to !!
wonder where to go and what to do as this has cost us nearly 250,000 nok in damage fixed

"Awful experience. Claim closed without my knowledge. Unresponsive to any emails. Zero stars if I could"
I had the very unfortunate pleasure of dealing with this company when my United States insurance StateFarm, subcontracted my claim to them because I got into a car accident in Canada. The agent that handled my claim was careless, did not respond to me emails AT ALL despite numerous attempts to communicate with him, and after 2+ months nothing had been done. I've been driving around with a broken headlight on my car since AUGUST.
Then, after contacting StateFarm in the U.S. about the claim and why it was moving so slowly, they told me that Crawco had CLOSED IT!!! Without even telling me or resolving the claim!!!!
I contacted the agent's supervisor about my experience. He said the claim had not been closed. I told him that I didn't care if it was closed or not, I now wanted it to be closed because I no longer wanted to deal with them. I let him know that I would just get the repairs done in the U.S. with StateFarm.
Lo and behold, he passed my claim on to ANOTHER agent, who then implied in an email to me today that it was my fault the claim wasn't resolved because I didn't answer calls or emails, which I NEVER received. No calls, no emails, nothing. I once again asked the claim to just be closed and not to proceed with it. I'm hoping this new agent does what I ask so I never have to hear from this awful company ever again.
I cannot believe the incompetence of the people that work here. Absolutely ATROCIOUS that they are still operating with the way they handled things. Apparently every review on here reads about the same as my experience. Shameful company.

"No communication, shocking"
I am currently dealing with this company at the moment via AXA, they are shocking, I have been waiting for 7 weeks for someone to deal with my claim and no one has visited my property. They dont answer the phone or emails I cant even believe insurance companies are still using them.

Shocking service, very poor communication, including the customer service department. On hold for 40 minutes and still not able to speak with anyone. Emails not ignored, telephone numbers provided do not work, I don't hear for weeks. Avoid if at all possible.

"Impossible to get hold of."
I can only echo previous reviewers. They do not reply to emails. They are impossible to get hold of on the phone. A current subsidence claim has now been going on for over two years. Unfortunately, I can't get rid of them as they are subcontracting for my insurance firm. Otherwise I would never talk to them again.

"Absolutely shameful experience"
Absolutely shameful experience. Logged my subsidence claim in September 2018 and still has not been resolved. No answer to emails just generic logging of received, no answer to calls just rings and rings. This is so stressful and unnecessary. I have had so many different people working!!!!!!!!!!! on my case I have lost count. Pass the buck and phone lines dead for previous correspondence. No communication...........I am totally done and will now be reporting to Watchdog and the Ombudsman enough is enough. Shame on you John Lewis for using and being associated with this company.

"UBER DISCLAIMER FROM CRAWFORD COMPANY"
On September 26,2022 I had a serious injury accident while carrying an UBER EATS package. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance and my right elbow and left wrist bones were broken.
Doctors reported that my fractures needed surgery and on November 2,2022 I had surgery on 2 of my fractures at the same time.
During this process, UBER EATS AND insurance company Crawford & Company did not help in any way. It has prevented my recovery from starting and has worn me out psychologically.
I can't upload files to Uber eats and its collaborator Crawford&Company claim system. I tried different ways. I have tried many different computers. YOUR SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING.
After hours of struggling alone with 2 broken arms, I could not go any distance. What is done to me resembles mobbing and even torture methods.
UBER EATS AND Crawford & Company are responsible for the health, financial and psychological problems I experienced as a result of the accident. UBER EATS and Crawford & Company are responsible for the psychological breakdown and financial losses I experienced due to the delay.
