Update on my previous reviews.
I have just received an email from Crawfords.
They have failed to acknowledge that my complaint is actually about them and their handling of my claim.
Crawfords needs to acknowledge regardless of which insurance company they are representing, the way they are operating is inefficient causes unnecessary suffering and does not save insurance companies any money.
I am quite capable of forwarding complaints directly to my insurance company once I have received answers to my questions from Crawfords, which I am still waiting for.

"Terrible - 4 yrs and still waiting"

It's been 4 years since our insurer approved our claim and Crawford still can't provide a date for when repair work will start. Hugely frustrating, stressful and disappointing.

"Wear and tear Yh right"

Fuming they have just messaged saying my claim for cooker has been rejected as it’s Down to wear and tear the flipping glass on door exploded how in any words is that wear and tear will be taking this further we do not pay our policy to be treated like this will be looking else where when policy runs out you are a disgusting company

"HORRENDOUS"

HORRENDOUS! After 1 year they have come back and said the claim has been rejected ! Even though they have actually caused damage which they have seems to forget ! Has anyone had any experience of Over turning their decision at all ?

"I wish there was an option for ZERO stars"

I wish there was an option for ZERO star ratings, because I would choose that. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. They are rude, bullying, unprofessional, and yet are paid by insurance companies to deal with their clients. I am insured through Allianz and I would never use them as insurers again in case any future claims are managed through Crawfords. I am still fighting them about a claim made back in January, 8 months ago. They rarely get back to you, have to explain everything to each person you talk to, and then find they are all equally indifferent and unprofessional. Now I have to go to the expense of getting an independent engineer's report to refute the rubbishy report they provided about my claim to Allianz. I have directed Allianz to contact them and instruct them to never contact me again, that's how stressful I find them.

"This company and their claims agents are inconsiderate and not punctual."

After purchasing airline tickets in December 2021 for a trip from Riyadh to Rome, it was canceled by the airline company (Royal Jordanian) in February 2022. I have tried to get my refund since April 2022. They are not responsive and their claims agent was hostile, rude, and blocked an email response. I did call him and read the email response to him. All I wanted was the refund of the tickets, nothing else. However, the compnay never answered how I would leave Rome if I could not get there? No answer to that and no help from mytrip.com nor this company. Today was the last time I wanted to deal with them as the denial letter had wrong information and their insurance agent, Thomas Cheng, started to record me when I mentioned I would contact the BBB to help in this matter. I was more than patient and uploaded all information. Yet, the two times I talked to Mr. Cheng, he was rude. In the first conversation, he offered me only half and then when I pressed to the full refund he said he can't do that and can't do any of it.

"If I could award ZERO Stars I would!"

If I could give this excuse of a Company zero stars then this is what I would do. Diabolical communication, diabolical response times to emails and phone calls, diabolical time keeping. Structural Survey done from photographs, surveyor attempted to make an appointment, once! Surveyor made an appointment to meet at my home with an arborist recruited by Crawford, he was almost an hour late, his excuse, he had a delivery, a personal one! He was incredulous when I questioned his priorities! Complaints procedure, all done internally. Pointless exercise. Immediately afterwards I sent some completed paperwork back to them, it took 7 days to acknowledge receipt and 14 days to call me to confirm some details within said paperwork! The phone lines are dreadful, you hold and hold and then get the option to keep your place in the queue, and they call you back. Guess what? NO they don't. I sent many emails asking for someone to let me know my paperwork was with the correct person, I sent perhaps 6 or 7 requests. Read their corporate website about technical advances which make for smooth and positive customer interactions, NO they don't. Why? Because nobody gives a damn about your reputation and the clients you purport to care about!

"I have no words to say how ridiculous…"

I have no words to say how ridiculous this company is. 1 year on for a 4 week project, they have managed to damage my parents Kitchen, Staircase, Blinds, Vacuum cleaner, bathroom and the list goes on.

My parents are in their 90’s and they are now saying that they are worried that they will die and won’t get to see their home back to how it was.

The quality of work is horrendous - we have had the insurance Loss adjuster out who has stated that this is not the quality of work they offer.

Crawfords promise the world but do nothing- they have not contacted us to give any updates nor have they sorted the issues out - their response is “WE HAVE NO BUILDERS AND I CANT MAGIC A BUILDER OUT FROM ANYWHERE” even having 8 months to deal with this!!!

They have damaged my parents brand new wooden flooring that is now unrepairable and will have to be replaced as stated by themselves and the flooring surveyors they appointed.

Paintwork is horrendous.

They are trying to brush this under the carpet hoping it will go away - not going to happen- solicitors have been instructed so legal action will be taken. They cannot treat people like this and now they need a taste of their own medicine.

I can name names but not sure if I am allowed to.

Stay far far far away from these pathetic clowns, you will regret it if you use them.

I am surprised they are still trading - this is a company that needs to be shut down immediately!!!

"They are not professionals and they…"

They are not professionals and they couldn’t even keep their word at all.I spoke with more than 10 people and they all are not taking my problem seriously,I wouldn’t recommend any one specially a lady called Keeley bason gave me a false hope and put me in a bad position.I even feel that cos I am not from here as they can tell from my accent so that’s why they don’t care at all.It’s been 3 month and still going on,Please don’t ever use this company as an insurance specially if you’re a taxi driver !
