"Avoid the adjusters at this company-extremely poor"

Giving one star to this company is too much.
The office staff appeared polite and some were helpful and some were not. The adjusters we had dealings with were beyond poor. I have never dealt with a business/personnel with such disgusting customer service and inability to do there job. If you have a choice, avoid them at all costs. They make a stressful situation ten times worse.

"Please i urge any insurance company NOT…"

Please i urge any insurance company NOT to use this company for your loss adjusters.
We had a burst pipe causing 25K of damage, they took 3 weeks to send someone out, who never turned up, then we spent ages taking photos so they could do a desk claim, they WILL NOT sort anything, They will spend all their time trying to avoid sorting anything out and it is now effecting my health, but again they wont sort anything quickly. Nearly 3 months and no further ahead than day 1. I will be writing to their CEO, but looking at every other review on here, he probably knows and don't care. Companies i urge you do not employ this firm as it will ruin your reputation!!. And yes only 1 star because no stars is not available! UPDATE. i will contact customer services, and update my review as necessary

"This has to be one of the worst…"

This has to be one of the worst companies. They will do everything possible to give you the run around. My claim has been transferred 4 times. This property claim was submitted on September 1, 2020 and was transferred to Crawford in November 2021. It feel that they back up the contractor more then the insured. The property has now become infested with rats and maggots. The job contractor did is just horrible, the kitchen and walls have to be redone. Crawford has has the independent adjuster come to the property twice, who agreed the job needed to be redone, I had to take time off of work to get quotes and still no resolution.

"Avoid - If you have the choice"

I don't write many reviews good or bad for anything, I'm generally quite understanding (I think) but these clowns have pushed me over the edge.

I'm 5 months into my claim for my flooded flat and can only repeat the experience mentioned by everyone else here. At times I often wondered if I was a victim of an elaborate scam or hoax, but then I realized that even they get back you from time to time.

It's concerning reading the reviews of others, especially regarding the payment of contractors as that is our current sticking point, I have no confidence that they will proceed without messing that up and leaving them chasing us for payment. I am already owed money for another aspect of the claim (that doesn't even cover the full costs)

There isn't a single piece of information I've received from them that didn't require multiple emails over several weeks.....and don't even both to ask multiple questions on the same mail, you'll be lucky to get an answer to 1. I've still not got a scope of work for the repair or any assurance what will be covered in that.

I try not to be rude, my sympathies for those poor souls who have to work for them, but it shouldn't need this much effort to get a reply...…..I suspect it can only be deliberate at this point, because I think even by chance someone would have accidently hit reply more often than I've got a response out of them

Like others, it does feel like a tactic to try and mentally destroy you into submission, signing something just to get it done, or taking a lower cash settlement just to never have to deal with them again.

Unfortunately, these are appointed on my behalf by AXA and I am trying to see what options are available....the official complaint goes in today and then I guess I have to wait for a reply before the ombudsman gets involved.

Absolute cluster-shambles of a company.

"Terrible amount of payment for injury claim"

I claimed for my injury on Uber Eats delivery job. I was gonna almost die in accident during work. I work 10 hours in a day with Uber Eats. And after 35 days they paid me £750 for 30 day sick note. Plus it wasn’t a sickness claim it was a injury claim and I injured my left rib, arm and leg terribly. The payment for injury claim is kinda joke and wasn’t even my avarage earning on job. It is really disappointment. Our lives are really in danger on those hands. I will take some legal actions if they will not compensate this.

"Been waiting since the 26th November…"

Been waiting since the 26th November 2021 for news on my belongings. Not heard from them at all. Not even the company removing my possessions can contact them. My stuffs all gone into storage and it sound like from what I've heard from the removals company that it's just been forgotten about and my possessions that were damaged havnt even been assessed. Been living on my sofa that was damaged, but i had to keep it as I had nothing to sleep on as my bed was even worse. I pay premium insurance cover aswell... don't use this company.

"We have never claimed before"

We have never claimed before. I have never been more appalled with a service before in my life. Crawford's need to assess there customer service, assessors, and lack of communication. I have had to hold on for 30 minutes plus to get through to a person who has know idea what to say or how to deal with a claim. I am in a situation where the contractors are chasing for there money for works completed. The last communication I had was from the assessor for our Bank details was 3 weeks ago, still no recompense to pay the contractors , numerous e mails sent to assessor and customer service dept..3 weeks later still no communication from them. Disgusted that they r allowed to keep customers in the dark as to progress on there claim and payout to contractors.I give you a- 0 on customer satisfaction. Sh

My case reference number is 1000689.1353/wakam/incident Date 01/03/202.
I wish to give 0 but there was no option for me. Got cheque from them £500 but bounce that cheque as no fund on there account. Which is really funny and after when I contact and still didn't get solution yet. Provided all documents and bank letters about bouncing but still they are not sorting. Even confirmed me to transfer to my account but keep giving word and no result. Every time keep promise and not complete that as serious action taken, when chasing though. I really surprised UK company is failed their payment by providing their company account cheque for unavailable fund in their company account.

"Living upstairs in my house since…"

Living upstairs in my house since February and I have a portable kitchen on my patio. Still waiting for them to give me a new floor and kitchen so that I can get back to living my life, sheer hell. Claim went in in April last year. I don't even think you deserve a 1. Total lack of care and communication.
