"Thieves/Scammers"

I purchased 2 beds from this company at the end of January but the company kept or extending delivery date. I cancelled the order on 19th February and promised refund in 10 days but never received refund despite calling them several times. At the end I had to contact bank to get my money retrieved. Avoid these thieves at all costs.

"SCAM"

Ordered a bed at the beginning of January 2025 from their website. Initial delivery date was 23rd Jan - no bed arrived. Received an email from Zenith, their "delivery network" stating that they regretted to inform me of an unexpected delay in delivery (apparently a major issue with the national grid requiring their road to be dug up, so their trucks reportedly couldn't access the factory...). New delivery date 30th Jan - no bed arrived. This time I had another message stating "Our delivery driver encountered unexpected traffic conditions causing a delay in reaching your location within the estimated time slot". "OK" I thought "no problem if it comes later in the day." But it didn't arrive at all. I emailed them, and received a close variation on the first message in response (the road being dug up on their industrial estate etc...) I tried to reach them on the phone but no reply. Tried again and spoke to a human after about 40 minutes on hold. Was told bed would come on 17th Feb - again no bed arrived. Went onto the 'track my order' link and saw that the delivery date was now scheduled for 5th March. There had been no communication about another delay. Obviously very annoyed, having taken the day off (again) to receive delivery and assemble the bed. 19th Feb had an email from them: "we are currently expediting your order and doing everything we can to deliver your bed as soon as possible. We will keep you updated on the progress and notify you immediately of any changes." Emailed them again on 3rd March (just to emphasise that I really needed them to deliver on 5th, as planned, as I was again taking a day off to receive delivery. On 5th March (somewhat unsurprisingly, but still very frustratingly) no bed arrived. I then emailed them to cancel my order and request a refund. No response. Emailed again two days later (you generally can't get through on the phone). 11th March they emailed back: "Thank you for contacting us. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced with this order. As requested, we have canceled your order. Please allow 10 to 20 working days for the refund to be processed back to your original payment method. We completely understand your frustration and disappointment. Your business is valuable to us, and we hope you’ll consider us for future purchases under better circumstances." I couldn't help but smile at the last line. "Hmmm, I will PROBABLY not be using your services again, but thanks". No refund received yet. Even though 20 working days haven't quite elapsed yet, I sent a further email today just to emphasise that I'm keen to ensure that they crack on and give me my money back, and that I really don't want to have to chase them again, having already spent more time and energy on them than I cared to. I had the following response a short time ago: "Thank you for reaching out. Due to the recent issues with our payment processor, we regret to inform you [...] we are unable to process cancellations or refunds at this time. We would advise you to obtain a refund due to the uncertainty of the current situation and recommend contacting your payment provider and requesting a chargeback, as they may be able to assist you in retrieving your funds. We sincerely apologise for this situation and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve it." Call me a cynical old grump but I rather suspect that nobody at SleepBeds is, in fact, 'working to resolve' anything, but that instead it is a big fat scam. I can only assume that the positive reviews on here are fake, given the vast number of other people who have had the same experience as me. I'm in the process of requesting a charge back through my bank, and only wish I'd done a little browse on Trust Pilot before ordering. I normally do. Anyway, we live and learn. Definitely don't order anything from SleepBeds, and definitely do warn anyone in the market for a new bed against them.

DO NOT PURCHASE A BED OR A MATTRESS FROM THIS COMPANY
i ordered a mattress from this company delivery date not given chased it up & was given a date, took the day iff work & when reviewed the delivery date again it had been moved to a week later. Cancelled the irder & was told it would take up to 15 working days for refund... 3 weeks after the final date still not got my refund, all I keep getting told is their finance team are dealing with high demands... I deal with refunds and know you t does not take this long to have your money refunded.

"Do NOT order from this company"

Do not order from this company. Terrible customer service...or really complete lack of any communucation. Ordered a mattress in January and still not delivered by the end of March. Several telephone calls made and on hold for an hour with no answer. Several emails sent which never received a reply. Fortunately I had paid via Clearpay and was able to raise a dispute. I have now received a refund via clearpay and no apology or correspondence from Sleepbeds. I have never left a bad review online but felt compelled due to the dreadful service from this company. Buy your new mattress elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

"Not received refund - appalling customer service"

I ordered a bed for my elderly Mum using her debit card on 1st Jan. We were originally told a delivery date of 23rd January but a few days before delivery I received an email to say they couldn't deliver then and it would be delivered the following week. I phoned them up to say I could not have the time off work then and said it would have to be a weekend delivery (unfortunately my Mum was taken into hospital on 2nd Jan). They informed me they couldn't let me have a date at the time as all slots for weekend delivery were booked up. So it was left that they would contact me with next available date. However a week later I got a phone call on the delivery date I said I couldn't do from the delivery guys saying they were at Mums bungalow. I was at work and told them it had been cancelled for that date. Unfortunately my Mum passed away on the 5th Feb and we sent an email requesting the cancellation of the bed and a refund on 12th Feb. We were told the refund had been initiated and would take 20 days to go back into Mums account. It still hasn't been received and I've just spent 50 minutes trying to get through to them to see what's happening but to no avail. The customer service I'm sorry to say is abysmal. We are just wanting to get this resolved now.

"No delivery, no refund"

I ordered a bed in January, by mid February there were no updates. I cancelled the order and they agreed to refund me. It's over two months later and I haven't received my refund. Appalling customer service. I'm not sure they are even a genuine company. I've requested a chargeback via my bank, as I think that's the only way I will get my money back.

"I am absolutely shocked at how…"

I am absolutely shocked at how companies even make any sales withe the customer care that I received. My bed that I ordered never got delivered on the date they had told me after enquiring about the delivery date waiting 2 weeks l. I couldn't get through on their contact number. I had to reply to my bank to get it disputed to get my money back.

DO NOT ORDER THIS WEBSITE , I made an order for a mattress in December they didn’t turn up twice on both (delivery dates) .
3 months later still no refund when they said they would give me one it’s been over 20 days .
Absolutely disgusting service
