JUST AWFUL! Complete scam - paid for a “lifetime plan” an enormous amount of money - and they have canceled it after 18 months without a refund, in a claim that “they are sorry but they have decided to seize the service indefinitely” and they won’t refund anyone. WATCH OUT - SCAM ALERT!!!

For the second time in a year, they have sent out a statement which does not take into account Lifetime members. This is after they closed one of my lifetime accounts for no reason a few years ago (and have still not responded to my questions as to why this has happened).
Stability is an important part of any service that has to do with data, and Zoolz definitely has shown to be unstable.

I had twitted at them yesterday asking what happens to life time members, and:

That's just ridiculous. So let's add bad customer relations to the mix.

Breach of contract sold lifetime 2TB subscription received today an email 9/30/20 that I and anyone else who received this email have 14 days to retrieve any information should have stuck to BackBlaze when I first joined them and never spent the money on Zoolz. If you want a great backup I would recommend giving BackBlaze a try I used them before and I regret leaving them I have begun the upload of my information into BackBlaze. For $6 a month $60 a year or $110 for two years you get unlimited storage and BackBlaze has the reputation to show one thing they won't sell out people.

Paid for lifetime subscription and cancelled after 2 years. No refund offered or given when requested. Horrible customer service and company. STAY AWAY!
Lifetime means 1 year to them apparently based on their reply.. Very dishonest business practices and poor customer service. Use them at your own risk.

Sold me two separate backup plans for two computers at home that were "lifetime". First, they asked for a "maintenance" fee about six months into the prepaid plan. Now, about a year later, the lifetime plan is cancelled with no refund and little notice (two weeks). Total rip off.

Bought lifetime subscription couple of months ago. Very slow upload, no mobile app (discontinued). Now they are discontinuing the lifetime. Unprofessional company, poor support.

"Company decided to terminate LIFETIME contracts"
Purchased a lifetime subscription for 2T of data backup. Although the company is remaining in business (to sucker in some business clients) they have decided to abrogate their services under their contract. Not only that but they are giving me just 15 days to download all my data along with all the other customers they are cheating over their slow and troublesome restore online interface before I lose all access to it. I'm alive, they're alive but their LIFETIME contract isn't. Very dishonest company.
As for their reply: The company continues to advertise plans to gain new individual home users.
Their restore process is neither fast nor easy in the best of conditions. Expecting it to work better than ever before during the 2 weeks prior to their deleting our data is adding insult to injury. It is truly "mission impossible."
In a direct email to me Zoolz offered me 2 additional years on my "lifetime" contract. I took it and hope that they will follow through and actually do what they promise. Upped from one star to two.
