Zoolz acaba de enviar un correo avisando que sus cuentas de consumo domésticas, de pago o lifetime, serán caducadas dentro de 15 días, con reembolsos parciales a sus usuarios, para centrarse en cuentas businnes por razones económicas. Yo recomiendo que todo sus clientes abandonen lo antes posible sus servicios y si puede demande a esta empresa que no cumple sus compromisos, por falta de credibilidad y deshonestidad.

"Used for 2 years, time to stay away from zoolz/bigmind"
As a user of zoolz for 2 years, bought the lifetime, I will not be moving to their replacement monthly billed. They planned this from the start, get a bunch of users then pull the switch on them hoping most would just roll over and pay for the service instead of honoring their lifetime deal. Instead now there will be a class action lawsuit and I'm onboard, not that I will get any money back, just to put out the lawsuit to show who zoolz really is.

"They cancelled my lifetime…"
They cancelled my lifetime subscription. Their email:
"All Zoolz Home users will have 14 days to retrieve their data from the cloud (...) On October 15th account data will be deleted from our servers. Before this, we will be sure to remind all users to retrieve their data before deletion".
Is this legal? I reported it through the citizensadvice website. Maybe it would be useful if everyone does the same.

They just sent me an email saying my LIFETIME subscription will be cancelled within two weeks. Considering their service was so slow to begin with, two weeks may not be enough to retrieve all my data.
They claim they are moving their services solely to business users... well no serious business user will get involved or trust their data to such a scam of a company.

Obviously, the generic response I got from Zoolz makes it clear they have not read the LIFETIME part of my complaint.

Same as others; Zoolz home users, apparently "lifetime", accounts are going to be discontinued in 15 days...
The reply of Zoolz below completely ignores the fact that they sold a lot of lifetime accounts 2 years ago that are all discontinued. Lifetime is more like 50 years than 2 years, however we are all not eligible for a refund. Completely dishonest and fraudulent.

"Liars ... worse than useless."
I paid 60 GBP for a lifetime subscription to the service in July 2018. Today I received an email advising me that the product was discontinued and I have only 14 days to download all my data. There is no easy to use interface for this and it looks like a company that specialises in back-ups is going to renege on their agreements and delete the user's data.
Bye bye money and bye bye data.
Dishonest to the core. For those that can start a Section 75 Consumer Credit Act charge back do!

I anticipate that you will breach our agreement in 14 days. If you do that I will file a small claims court application to recover the subscription fee which was paid in good faith for a lifetime back-up service. One and half years is not a lifetime.

"Very disappointed"
Awful money making machine. I had a lifetime plan but it turns out they make it almost impossible to use efficiently after a year or so unless you want to pay more. Added bonus - they're now closing all private accounts with 2 weeks' notice or you'll lose your data (imagine being away from home for a while and coming back to that!), telling customers the solution is "no longer supported" but they can move to a Business version for an annual payment for half the space they had before. Giving it 1 star because it was easy enough to use and a good deal at the time, but yeah, don't trust Zoolz. Whatever you buy will come with limitations they don't initially mention or added cost later. Or, you know, your account being shut down with 2 weeks' warning.
As you can see from the response below, their way of dealing with unhappy customers is to quote company lines, not even add the tiniest bit of personal touch such as "sorry we can't honour our promise of a lifelong account". Or read the actual review which clearly states I've had my account for longer than a year. Or the fact that they send emails saying "On October 15th account data will be deleted from our servers." and "this will certainly affect the ability for some customers to effectively retrieve their data" on September 30th as the first warning, then claim they're being helpful by offering a dedicated email address rather than just giving people a bit more time in the first place.

At the speed Zoolz runs I won't have all my files retrieved in 14 days. They are so SLOW.
