"Sold a watch they didn't have. Two weeks to start processing refund"
I ordered a Garmin watch more than 2 weeks before a birthday as a gift in May. It was not showing as out of stock or on back order. It was in stock at Garmin but slightly more expensive. I didn't hear anything for a week or so and so asked for an update and highlighted the urgency. I was told it was likely to arrive the week of the birthday, at the start of June. A few days later I got what looked like a standard email saying the watch was due to be received by them in August. I called immediately (almost 2 weeks ago) and was told that they had no Garmin stock at all. I asked for a refund and was told it would take 7-10 days. I expressed that this was too long to wait as I would have to repurchase the watch elsewhere and they had wasted 2 weeks of my time already. I was told they would try to expedite the refund but the banks often delay it. 13 days later, today, I received an email from them to say they have only just processed the refund! They had not even asked the bank to make the payment until today. I still don't have the funds. The delay was theirs and inexplicable. Again, standard email, no apology, no acknowledgement that they agreed to refund me 13 days ago and have only today processed it. I have had to purchase the watch again (for more than I could have bought it for in the first place and after it was out of stock to buy direct) and have been out of pocket since May.

Many thanks to Harriet for helping me with the purchase of a Garmin titanium vented watch bracelet. Excellent customer service, organised the sizing adjustment needed and I got the item the very next day in the post.

Honestly avoid buying a watch from this company at all costs, if you change your mind on a watch they will refuse you a refund even if the watch you ordered has a defect. Currently going through the section 75 process with my bank because of this.
Their customer service is non existent and they are very much profit first, customer second, in all my years of buying watches I have never had this issue and I advise you to save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere to purchase a watch. Really disappointed.
