The best booking platform in my experience (also use the German eventim.de for concerts over there.)

"Bought a wrong ticket by mistake "

I bought a ticket for a show but was given the wrong one anc within five minutes I contacted your office to notify they refused to refund me the ticket. Tou are the only platform that does that. It was literally within five minutes of the transaction!!

First time using the app to attend a comedy show in London… It was easy, simple and seamless to use without any noticeable complications.
Thanks to those in charge of it... I suggest that they make periodic and ongoing discounts for international and local university students.

"Unable to access/resell tickets. Eventim won't help."

I needed to change date (and quantity) of my tickets for Strictly Live at O2. Given the event was almost sold out I quickly bought new tickets planning to sell the first ones. I thought wouldn't be a problem given Eventim has its own resale platform FanSale which it talks about in its FAQs. Turns out this is not possible for this event but this is not flagged (below reply from Eventim ignores that clause 13 of the T&Cs for the specific event actually calls out the existence of FanSALE but not that its unavailable for this event...) Endless emails with customer services later and I am no further on. They are relatively responsive but told me to go on O2 app/AXS app from where I can supposedly sell my tickets. I've explained 2-3 times my tickets don't appear there despite checking it is latest version and I'm using same email address etc and they cant explain this. They said they'd escalate but then of course heard nothing back despite chasing. Below reply from Eventim does not address this either. They have told me there are other random sites I can try on (but only once I have access to the tickets which I dont...). I think could be as late as 12 hours before event - cosmic. So I am left with £260 of tickets I cant use (that someone else would love) and have wasted hours of time and stress. I have asked 3 times if Eventim could just refund and resell the tickets but they just quote the T&Cs that they are non-refundable. I understand they are non-refundable in normal circumstances but something has gone wrong that is preventing me from using normal avenues to be able resell the tickets so this is where Customer Services surely step in and help? Isn't that quite literally why Customer Services exists? These are 4 mid-range tickets for a basically sold out event. They could resell them today at the touch of a button but I have hit 'computer says no' and no-one willing to exercise discretion and do the right thing which would cost them nothing - quicker than replying to my emails or writing below unhelpful reply for sure. By contrast my other tickets for same event/venue were through AXS and I can transfer/sell them at touch of a button. So I would say beware buying through Eventim because there are easier alternatives and who needs the hassle. I definitely didn't. The suggestion below that customers should pay extra for insurance to cover off this scenario is ridiculous when that same customer can just buy the tickets through a different company eg AXS and not have this problem in first place.
