"Bullying and scare tactics for an invoice less than 12 hours old and due in 30 days."
Following this company randomly billing us and not being able to tell us why we agreed that money was owed, we paid in full. The following day we received the first of a lot of bullying and threatening calls demanding further payment of a new invoice that we less than 12 hours old and not due for 30 days. We finally got a call back from a customer service manager who hadn't a clue and used the same threatening and bullying tactics. Guess it comes from the top.... Stay well clear.

If I could give 0 stars I would...Have had the misfortune of dealing with this shambles of a company for several of our empty units (we're a property holding company in London). As others have said: emails go unanswered - completely; telephone calls are made and promises made - nothing ever happens; I rang today after receiving a disconnection notice for one of our units that's been let since Feb 2021 and we are still waiting for our final invoice. The recorded message says they shut at 4:30pm and are only open Mon-Fri as it is. What a joke this company is. Avoid like the plague!!!

Still after nearly 5 months of trying to get you to do a metre read, numerous emails and phone calls and still nothing. Stop sending estimates because your not getting a penny until you do a correct reading!! Nothing to do with covid because my metre is under the pavement outside. Sort it out guys

If you have a problem the people on the front line of customer service are very nice and try to be helpful but nothing happens after that. The managers do not get back to you, there is no escalation, there is no response to formal complaints - I am getting in touch with the regulator next...

They don't answer emails, if they do its without reading them properly and then giving an incorrect response!! and blame covid on delays!!

Just take ownership on the fact that SES water are a rubbish company!!...... thats putting it politely.
I can only assume no one from this company reads these experiences on here, as surely if they did they would try and do something for the companies rep?
Or they are just not bothered 🤷

This is the worst business I have ever dealt with.
They do not send bills just regular threatening demands. The bills they send are not accurate. My office has been empty for 8 months during the pandemic and so no water has been used yet even with a meter they make up a bill and send a red letter demanding payment!.
Very disappointing and I will try and find another company as fast as I can. They should not be allowed to trade.

"Poor systems, useless customer service"
This company has no operational role. It doesn’t supply water, it outsources its meter reading, and its debt collection. This leaves its only task as calculating its bills. You’d think, therefore, that it’s billing system would be slick, accurate and totally under control.
But it’s not. It fails on all counts. It’s customer service doesn’t deserve the name. 5 emails sent - one acknowledgement with promise of action. But the promise wasn’t kept. Over four months since first contact, but no change in outcome.
I’m leaving this company for a different supplier, but even here they block your transfer.

I'm trying to include my sister in the water bill as she is now living with me and I got told it's not possible, she needs to pay the bills as well and have a registration that she lives here, once I asked for an explanation why is not possible I just got an answer saying is not possible and that's it, why cant I get a reasonable explanation? Additionally got told only 2 people can be in the bill so if I wanted to remove my wife to get my sister into the bill it's not possible either, what is the reason behind all of this?

This is actually for residential. After some problems Kaye and Elouise could not have been more helpful. They went above and beyond, both professional and empathetic and took the time and trouble to check things were sorted out. I genuinely think certain practices will change as a result. Outstanding
