"If I could give a lower review I would"

If I could give a lower review I would. DANIELLEin customer service is the rudest person I have ever come across. My 84 yr old hearing impaired mother called to change her plan. Watching my mother struggle to understand and explain what she needed my mother asked DANNIELLE to talk to me. As I put phone to my ear I heard the rude comment and sound of disgust from DANIELLE. I explained why I was talking for my mother and DANNIELLE refused to discuss the acct with me. THE WORST. I handed the phone back to my mother where DANIELLE continued to be short, disgusted with life and rude.

"Not compatible with hearing aids"

According to the Greatcall sales person I spoke with the Smart phone from GC is compatible with hearing aids. Well, this is not the case. At least not with the hearing aids my mother in law is wearing. Evidently, the android software needs to use at least version 10. The smart phone from GC is version 7. Now you can see why they are cheap. Outdated technology.

"NO RESPECT for there Customers and the worst customer service ever…"

GreatCalls was one of the flip phones on the list recommended to my mom by the New Orleans Lighthouse for the Blind. After researching each phone we decided on the Jitterbug Flip because it advertised a voice dial function. After receiving the phone this function did not work. I spoke with many different CSA regarding this problem they advised me to perform all these processes which did not correct the problem. I was lucky enough to reach an honest customer service agent who advised me the voice dial had a software issue and the company was aware of it, she offered to refund our money after I explained to her the primary reason we purchase the phone was my mom is 88 years of age and blind and she needed the voice dial, I also explained this to the CSA who sold us the phone. I called again and asked for a prepaid return mailing label, however this CSA was extremely rude after much discussion she finally relented and sent the label. Once the phone was received on there end I check my mom’s credit card they did not give us a full reimbursement. I called again explained everything however the CSA was extremely rude, she advise me this was the restocking fee and the front end shipping fee which is not going to be reimbursed. I explained to her we should not be responsible for these fee’s since there product was faulty. She keep me on hold for about 15 minutes while she discuss this with her supervisor. She advised me her supervisor would only reimburse the front end shipping fee. I called my mom’s credit card company they obtained a full refund for us. Customer Service is the worst except for the one honest person who assisted us. They will not survive if they cannot acknowledge responsibility for their faulty products and the lack of respect they have for the customers. If I could have give them zero Stars I would have.

Buyer beware, besides being expensive, they store all of your sensitive information for good, you cannot remove it. I had my identity stolen through GreatCall.

"Awful"

Greatcall cares only about their bottom line. I called in July 2020 to cancel my mother's service (I am POA) and was told it was done. Got her CC bill in August to find she was still active with Greatcall. Called again to cancel and was told it was done and charges would be reversed. They were at that time (but not for when I originally cancelled) but come Sept she was charged AGAIN! Called AGAIN and told it was done but got another bill with another charge! The incompetence is so very Trump-like. I asked if they would like to continue to rob my mother, who on a good day knows her first and last name, of $50 per month for a service that was cancelled in JULY! I am the POA and speak for her and have CLEARLY cancelled this service, TWICE! I was called rude (and I was because I was highly frustrated for their incompetence) but when I turned the tables and told them they were being rude and disrespectful for taking money for my mother who needs this money for a skilled nursing facility they HOPEFULLY finally reversed the charges. We'll see what the next month brings. Horrible company. DO NOT do business with them!

"LIVELY FLIP LIE"

LIVELY FLIP LIE! After spending a total of over 5 hours with two "customer service" agents, it was determined (and agreed upon by them) that the new Lively Flip phone CAN NOT make voice calls or send texts through Alexa as advertised and written on the front of the box itself! You can hook to Alexa, but when you ask it to make a call or ask it to call one of your contacts using the Lively service (as instructed), Alexa will say, "Calling with Alexa is not supported on this device. Use the Alexa app instead." This is not possible, as the Lively Flip does not have the ability to download apps! Total scam. I asked one of the Customer Service agents why GreatCall would advertise a feature that was not available and he responded, "most of our users are not very tech savvy and will like not go through the complicated process to fully set up the Alexa,"??? I find it really sad that a company would cheat seniors by grossly misleading them and their caregivers in this manner.
FYI...GreatCall has NO TECH SUPPORT department. You can only call customer service. The second agent I dealt with admitted to me that he was merely given the same manual that comes with the product and that he was "winging it" to try and solve the problem, no differently than I could do myself. He had never received any training on the product, had no troubleshooting info beyond the manual and had never physically seen, held or used the phone.
This is disgusting and should be looked into by the FTC. If anyone from GreatCall sees this, feel free to email me a response and perhaps convince me that not one, but two of your own customer service "professionals" was wrong in their assessment of your advertising deception at rnscrubs @ gmail.

"It's so Lousy & Funky"

This is my very first GreatCall Smart2 mobile phone. Here are the Pros and Cons: Pros: Very informative and educational. Cons: The keyboard is too small and is difficult to use. I have a tendency to hit the wrong keys and the functions are so sensitive to touch while navigating. I can get frustrating at times. I'm switching to another mobile phone.

He went over all the details of my call, I had received a replacement phone and needed help with setting it up. He never lost his patience know matter how many questions I asked.
