"Predatory"

Got this plan for my mother. When she missed her first bill due to it being sent to my home by mistake, they called and were very disrespectful. I recommended training dealing with elderly and warned I wouldn’t tolerate that a second time. Bill was supposed to be 45$ mo. Her last bill was 258$ due to “overages. Beware, this company is predatory. All calls, incoming, and outgoing use your minutes. So all scam calls, that access your voice mail, all Medicare calls which can be many weekly...it all uses a persons minutes. They charge 32 cents a minute if you go over your plan.
Needless to say we had to pay the bill, but they lost out on repeat business. So enjoy, your 258$ Great Call, you could have gotten years worth. Also, The flip phones are absolute trash. Never could get it to work right. No reason such a simple phone should have so many issues. I’d give it no stars if able. Try Consumer Cellular instead.

"Don't get ripped off!!!!!!"

First of all I wouldn't even give them 1 star, LOTS of fees and in my opinion its highway robbery and they're not willing to work with you. Most elderly people are on a fixed income and really sick to see them get ripped off when they're at your mercy... Definitely check into all fee's before buying and going with greatcall

"Easy to use phone."

Everything on this phone is easy to use. The ring is loud enough to hear across the room or when it is in my purse. All selections on the screen are large enough to see for easy use.

"Excessive Charges Over Your Rate Plan"

When my wife was in the hospital, she made more phone calls than she thought she did. Her bill for that month was $240. They charge 35-cents per minute over your maximum allotted minutes.

When I called to complain to GreatCall, all they could do was to credit me for $30 of the total amount. I then talked to a manager and told him that his major competitor would bump you automatically to a higher rate plan than charge you for excessive minutes.

The manager accused me of making this up. Needless to say, I cancelled GreatCall and switched to the other provider.

"Useless phone with poor service"

I bought a Jitterbug phone with GreatCall service in 4-19 to use in St. Charles MO. I immediately found I could not make calls into or out of the conference center, although everyone else's phone worked. I then tried to use it in Charlotte NC at an outdoor venue. Same story. Everyone else's phone had service, but not GreatCall. So this Feb I cancelled GreatCall. Now they don't seem to recognize that I cancelled and I get bill after bill. Poor service; poorly run company.

Not happy with them my mom is very ill. Lost her phone wanted to cancel asap. Did not get results. Cause she needed to do it. She is not able to even talk.

They have really upset me off so I will just block the next pmt

My husband has a phone through this company. He has had nothing but trouble with his new smart 2 phone. I'd rate them less than one star if possible.

"This company is a scam"

This company is a scam. Talk about taking advantage of the older generation!!! Last month's bill was $823.60. Should have bought an iPhone. They refused to work with us and are completely careless. Legalized robbery. DO NOT BUY!!!

"My mother who is 88 has Great Call"

My mother who is 88 has Great Call. I was trying to set up auto pay for her. What a disappointment there customer service department is! So as her son and caregiver I cannot set up auto pay because I’m not her and she has no idea what her pin # is. All her other utilities were very helpful in assisting me with setting up auto pay. Angie “a supervisor?” assured me I could not do this but I could cancel the service? I would not recommend this company to anyone with elderly parents as the customer service is nonexistent. After all I just wanted TO SET UP AUTO PAY!!!!!

"Customer Service"

I recently called about my dad's phone and requested a switch from the smart phone to the flip since he was having a difficult time using it. The customer service rep was rude, often times talking loudly over me. He had no patience and no desire to understand the troubles we were having. With everything going on in the world, you would think one would show a bit more compassion and kindness.
