"A Perfect Greek Island Vacation - 11 Days"

We recently completed an amazing 11 day trip to Greece which included Athens, Milos, Mykonos and Santorini.

We elected to use Zicasso to help plan our itinerary since they were local to the Greek Islands and felt they understood our desires and expectations for each location. They customized our itinerary to ensure our activities and/or tours were to our expectations.

The hotel selections were perfect as they were in great proximity to key attractions or beaches, for when we had free time. Also, it made it very convenient for dinner. In addition, the hotels selected had outstanding staff and customer service, which added to the experience.

As for our activities and tours, all transfers were handled and staff were readily available via text or e-mail, if we had any questions. The tours they recommended were great and our Athens city tour and Santorini wine tour were “private” and just our family which made us feel extra special.

Overall, we plan to use Zicasso for any future international travel, as this vacation was perfect!!

I was so impressed by Zicasso’s business model. Two extremely qualified travel agents made up excellent itineraries after speaking at length with me over the phone. I honestly had a difficult time choosing who to use and think I would have been happy with either one. We had an awesome travel experience. All of the arrangements went smoothly and I was able to communicate with the agent throughout our trip. I would definitely use Zicasso again and would feel comfortable recommending their services to others.

Our trip to Italy was well-planned to give us the experiences we wanted at a pace and sequence that was well-measured and relaxed. In less than 2 weeks, we saw Florence, much of Tuscany, and then the Amalfi coast. The stress of figuring out how to get from place to place and how much time was needed for each step was eliminated. Our advisor helped us to select tours, guides, and hotels that we could not have identified, much less booked, on our own. Having planned many previous trips, including one to Italy, I could see the value of expert advice from someone with firsthand knowledge and an insider understanding of how to make arrangements.

After months of attempting to plan a 3 week sabbatical to Australia and New Zealand, I was overwhelmed with hundreds of internet searches and recommendations from friends. I stumbled upon Zicasso who quickly paired me up with two travel agencies in the region. Both were very familiar with Australia and New Zealand and both put together a full itinerary for us to consider. After selecting the agency who we thought was the best fit, we had a few phone conversations to make slight adjustments and finalize the details. In less than two weeks we had a perfectly curated trip with every detail considered. What a wonderful service Zicasso provided - and our trip was perfect!

One other huge benefit of Zicasso: Only those who booked a trip with Zicasso can review the travel agency after the trip. Therefore there are NO "fake" reviews as is common on other public review sites. What you read about their travel agencies are reviews from only those who used the services.

Will I use Zicasso on my next overseas trip? Without hesitation.

We have used Zicasso twice now, once for a month-long trip to Spain last year, and again this spring for a month-long trip to Greece. After reviewing the proposals from the two travel agents Zicasso referred to us for each trip, we picked the once that was closest in their approach to our ideal dream trip. Both times, the travel agents delivered amazing itineraries. And both times, the itineraries were wonderfully executed. We are now starting to plan our 2025 trip, and again, we'll be using a travel agent referred by Zicasso.

I found the services provided by Zicasso were truly outstanding. Their wide network of global travel agents and contacts were remarkable.
I would not hesitate to go back to Zicasso for my next international trip planning.

"AVOID: Luxury prices, non-luxury travel."

Bottom line: I encourage everyone out there to vet their agents instead of relying on Zicasso to do that vetting. Their value for money is questionable.

We booked a trip with Zicasso to France and their travel partner was unsatisfactory. The trip was so poorly planned that we asked them to cancel the last day of our planned itinerary (un-refunded).

On contacting Zicasso, they have done no due diligence on what transpired, and responded with platitudes.

For instance, one tour guide had never visited the destination we were going to. Zicasso's response:

"While the guides are independent contractors, French Touch Travel meets and knows each of the guides they use, has partnerships with them, and therefore feels confident booking them for their travelers."

Many instances like this abound...

We have travelled with other luxury providers who have done much better at addressing concerns.

I believe this is the disadvantage of a travel broker - they have no real capacity for quality control.
