"Enjoyed Our Stay, 5 Star Property, but 4 Star Rental Experience"

We loved the property. Very high end finishes and it lives up to the name as a ‘Five Star Property’. However, I am only giving 4 stars for these reasons: The large windows that faced the pool area were not cleaned well. It looked as if something was smeared all over them, so it definitely detracted from the pool view. Also, I believe we were supposed to receive wristbands to use the clubhouse amenities with our rental, but there was no information in the property for that so we didn’t want to go through the trouble of pursuing. Overall, we really enjoyed the property, but the outdoor pool area has some layout flaws. The dining area is too far away from the kitchen, so it was difficult to transport meals to the outdoor dining area. Also, the outdoor dining area has no airflow - at all - so it felt like being in a pizza oven during the day. During the evening, we couldn’t benefit from any of the breeze as it is closed off on 3 sides, so any airflow was blocked. This is the 3rd time we’ve had a rental through Five Star and we were generally pleased, but there were a few letdowns in a couple of areas (window cleaning and clubhouse amenities). The property layout is mostly nitpicking as the layout cannot be easily changed. Some additional shading (deck umbrellas) would be useful during the hot July sun too. Loved the pool and hot tub. The convenience of the bike rentals was a nice perk.

"Five Star Properties Did a Fine Job"

Five Star Properties did a fine job handling my reservation and communicating with me prior to my stay. They also checked with me following my arrival to make sure that all was well.

My only disappointment with Five Star was upon departure. We were due to depart at 10AM on Saturday and the house was not rented the week following our stay. I asked if we could depart at 2PM and offered to pay a couple hundred dollars for the later departure. Five Star declined a late check-out but offered another night's stay for a hefty fee. No thanks. Not sure why they couldn't have been a wee bit more customer friendly for a courtesy that would not impact them.

"It is extremely difficult to contact…"

It is extremely difficult to contact management and have issues resolved. I never received info on the gate code, wrist bands, or a parking pass. I was forced to pay for a parking pass by security even though it should have been included when I booked my stay. Overall management was really unhelpful

"Overall good stay...."

Overall, our family had a good stay at Bourbon Breeze from Five Start properties. The house was clean and spacious for our family and the children loved the pool. The only reason this property did not get 5 stars is because we only had access to the beach for 1 of the days that we stayed with our own fob. The property managers were unable to locate the fobs. We had to ask other people to let us in and out of the beach which was very frustrating especially with small children and it being very hot. I don't feel that we were being assisted enough with this matter.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Lontano! The view was amazing and the location was perfect, very close to the beach and the community pool. 5 Star was wonderful and answered our calls very promptly with any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be back to Destiny by the Sea and be using 5 star again!

"Great vacation"

Great vacation! My family enjoyed the bikes, the pool and the proximity to the beach. If I had to say something that we didn’t like, it was a bit cold in the house. I stayed in another property that had a sound system that played throughout the home, this one didn’t have that feature.

We always love staying at Winterpast by the Sea!!!! We have stayed there 5 years ... it is our home away from home!!!!

Beautiful house. Great location. I wish it was a little better stocked with regular items (pizza cutter, plastic bowls/plates, salt/pepper) but Its probably because the place seems brand spanking new. Overall wonderful experience.

"This property is beautiful"

This property is beautiful! the house is very large, with ample space in the bedrooms. The living room is slightly small for the amount of people the beds can sleep, but only an issue if it's a rainy day. the pool is beautiful and a great addition. very convenient short walk to the beach if you have kids or a lot to carry, etc. kitchen is nice with tons of dishware etc, along with a great grill. 2 laundry rooms was nice to keep towels clean and do some laundry before heading home. garage comes with great floats, chairs, umbrellas, and the bikes are awesome. would recommend this house!
