"Sanctuary of Frangista"

I want to start by saying Five Star Properties is a great company with awesome staff. We have been with Five Star Properties for the last 3 years and we will continue to book with them and I give them 5 stars ⭐️. The 3 stars are for the house we stayed this year. We had a few issues with the house Sanctuary of Frangista 1. We had issues with the bathroom the water would go from cold to hot to cold again in matter of seconds. 2. The elevator kept getting stuck and made a lot of noise. On the last day of our stay my mom got stuck for 10 min until someone knew she was in there and I was able to guide her on how to get out. 3. The water hose faucet next to the pool the handle broke off and water was spraying everywhere a plumber was supposed to come and fix it and never showed up the next day Five star properties maintenance man showed up and fixed it fast and was very nice and knowledgeable. 4. The T.V in the main living room kept blacking out and could only hear the sound but no picture. We would turn it off for 20-30 min and it would start working normally then it would do it again. I will book with Five Star Properties again next year they are a great company.

Had an awesome time with my family at our Crystal Beach condo in Destin. Will DEFINITELY go back here. Very clean and the service from Five Star Properties was outstanding.

"We loved our house but Five Star Management was terrible"

We loved our house, it was sooo beautiful and in the perfect spot! But we were disappointed in the rental company from the beginning. The communication between them was very poor, we inquired on getting early access (which I understand it cannot be guaranteed). But when we arrived we attempted to call the company to see if we can get in, we were hung up on. We called back again, and were told the house was JUST completed, but we waited outside for over an hour and got in. Upon entry we noticed there were no cleaning products, no dish soap, no garbage bags, no sponges, no propane in the grill. We went out and purchased the bare minimum to just get us through the night.

That night we also noticed that every pull out bed only had sheets provided. Half of the house had to sleep under towels and one sheet. We called immediately the next morning, and it took 4 hours for them to deliver soap, garbage bags, and a sponge, and the bag WREAKED of cigarettes. When I asked about the blankets, I was rudely told the housekeeping company showed them pictures of the sheets and that we were not going to be told that we weren't getting more unless I had asked. The man then returned to give us the blankets, wreaking of cigarettes again, another 2 hours later.

When the maintenance man came to provide us with a propane tank, he entered the house without wearing a mask, and when I explained to him we have asthmatics and someone who is pregnant, he begrudgingly put it on and said he "just doesn't like wearing it". He switched out the propane tank but stated that igniter appeared to not be working but he "fixed it". After he left we attempted to use it and it was not fixed so we had to find different meals to cook.

I have worked in customer service for over 15 years, I have never left a poor review because typically I can understand, but this was by far one of the worst customer experiences I have had. Between the attitude for having to provide the bare minimum for a house to function, the difficulty and lack of communication, the grill not working and us having to rearrange meal plans, the lack of consideration when entering a house full of strangers during a pandemic (regardless of your beliefs), all left a very sour taste in our month. The home was perfect, and the beach front made up for the lack of customer service. When renting a house from now on, I will avoid any Five Star is the property management company.

"Great stay"

Great stay! Love the spacious rooms and kitchen. Our family would like to thank you for this awesome time we had at our stay. We had minor issues like the bathroom lights kept kicking out but nothing we couldn't fix ourselves. We enjoyed our stay here. Its a must for a big family.

"Family Traditions"

The house was great and we really enjoyed the stay but the inability of the management company to make any important repairs (the outdoor kitchen areas) while we were there was disappointing.

It has been 2 weeks since these items were reported and hopefully repairs have been made by now.

"Dream Come True..."

Our family had such an amazing week here. The house was in immaculate condition and the property management company was extremely responsive with any questions we had. The pool and private walk-way to the beautiful beach made for great days for us and our children--going back and forth from riding the waves to splashing in the pool. The balconies overseeing the pool allowed us to watch the beautiful waves and sunsets, while relaxing as a family.

The kitchen and family room was the perfect space for us to spend time together while preparing/eating meals and then watching movies. The bedrooms were amazing; and the bunk room downstairs is a teenager's dream. Note: To access the bunk room from the main floors, you must go through the garage or outside by the pool area. That worked fine for us, but with younger kids, I would have been leery.

We could not have been happier with our experience. It far exceeded our expectations; and we expect to book again next year!

"House was more than we had expected"

House was more than we had expected. Location was great, short walk to beach, short drive to retail shopping. Even the bunk beds were conformable.
House was well equipped, Supply of towels was a plus.
It would have been nice to have additional key fobs required for beach entry.
We were delayed 30/40 mins checking in because housekeeping was not finished.
We would like to return next year.

"House was very spacious"

House was very spacious. Kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, dishes and utensils. House cleaning could be a little better. Found items under furniture in bedrooms when moving chests to find plug-ins for phone chargers. House needs some outside updates especially steps going down to pool. We were disappointed the pool had not been cleaned before our arrival. It was green and mold on sides. We did call and pool people arrived next morning. Shocked the pool but sides still green. Short walk to beach. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas with a wagon. Overall; nice spacious home with great view from top.
