"Data collection / sharing - beware"

The company initially asks for the info about your car then follows up immediately with a phone call or text asking for more details on your car. Normal.

Not normal and a waste of time is when after sending all the info they come back and say sorry your car is too new based on the year of it WHICH WAS THE VERY FIRST THING YOU SEND WHEN YOU INITIALLY CONTACT THEM.

When I provided this feedback to the company the respondant was particularly sarcastic with his response when they basically said ok well here’s some feedback for you, read the message entirely and check our terms of service.

I didn’t provide the feedback for any other reason than to give them some candid feedback so they can fine tune their business model and stop wasting people’s time but based on their response and the subsequent link to their partner it became clear that they were really interested in getting more data from me so they could get referrals by sharing my info with their partner without my consent.

Since they didn’t want to take the feedback directly — let me share it here for everyone else to see so maybe they’ll get it next time. When your provided private feedback — treat it as a gift.

Had a quick conversation with one of their representatives about selling my van. He was going to make me an offer on my 1 owner 2016 Ford Transit Cargo van good condition with 95600 miles. This vehicle has a fair market value of $14000 to $16000. He asked a couple of questions and offered me $4000. Don't do business with these people. They are crooks.

Offered $100 for a running and driving vehicle 😂 sounds like a scam

"Sold a vehicle to CarVIO"

Sold a vehicle to CarVIO. Check from CarVIO arrived 06/24/24 and car was picked up the following day. Deposited check at bank and processed no problem. 2 days later, the bank informs me that the check bounced from CarVIO. I have tried contacting CarVIO to get an update or clearance on the matter, but no one answers the phone, no matter what number I call. Until this sort of issue gets fixed, I could not recommend CarVIO to anyone, especially if checks will bounce.

"Bad experience "

I told the company everything that was wrong with my car ,and they said they would buy my car for 650 and and I accepted their offer, then they sent what they need pictures of my car ,and I told the guy the one who was helping me ,I would do it later and gave me attitude the next day because I didn't do it the day of, and he pressured me on the paperwork done and gave a few days to do it , so few days later and I get all my paperwork done and everything filled out and then he tells they are no longer interested in my vehicle

Worked with Charlie and it was a pleasure, he made everything as simple as possible. was skeptical about sending the title but between talking to him and his manager Gabby, i felt comfortable enough and got paid before the vehicle was picked up! things were done smoothly. only thing that took a little longer than expected was the pick up of the vehicle!
