We are first time customer of Imagine Cruises. We booked a Silversea 11 nights Mediterranean cruise and a 6 night Italian Lake tour through Imagine cruise on the 20th June 2023 to depart 26th June 2024. After numerous requests to confirm the hotel, we will be staying at Lake Maggiore they still cannot confirm the hotel 5 day prior to us departing.

Recently returned from trip to Tokyo, Alaska and Victoria in Queen Elizabeth and was taken by surprise with the large number of guests travelling with Imagine Cruising. The Grand Nikko Hotel was excellent. The Mt Fuji tour was also an exciting day. The Queen Elizabeth docked only one mile from the hotel and was visible from the 33 storey hotel from early morning of the embarkation day. For what it’s worth the embarkation procedures at the Cruise Port were testing to say the least and did not compare well with other cruise companies. The Cunard experience is a variable feast with good food, good service and fine but occasionally doubtful entertainment. My issue would be with the operation of the onboard charge account. Why was the full service charge added to accounts on day one of the cruise and the amount over £500 preauthorised that day with my bank. Further preauthorisations were set up during voyage. My understanding was that the account was charged to my bank card at the end of the cruise not the beginning. I have to add drinks charges were high and the daily charge for WiFi use was ridiculous.

My advice to anyone travelling with Cunard is to read carefully all the paperwork and be ready for things to change. I must say that Imagine Cruising’s arrangements were sound and overall we had a memorable holiday. The highlights were Tokyo, Seward, Victoria and Icy Strait Point, plus of course the Glaciers.

Brad was great assisting me with booking our cruise especially when we couldn't decide which one. After perusing an Asia cruise for a couple of weeks we decided in the end to book Australia/New Zealand. Brad was really helpful and patient, nothing too much trouble. Now looking forward to next March.

Whilst the booking process was good although a touch disjointed as we had to book most of it ourselves, the holiday did not meet our expectations. The hotel certainly wasn't 5* . No air conditioning for the whole of our stay in temperatures of 40c.
The rep in Athens was non- existent and the organised tour was a disaster leaving 8 of us for 4 hours in a restaurant.
