"Scam"
Some guy name Nana Buah PUC Certificate No. 10052 forced me to sign a contract at SAM's Club promising 9 cents per KW but turned out to be 26.5 cents per KW and within the less than 2 months my bill is $400 they are threatening to disconnect tomorrow Nov 9. I filed a complaint but they don't give a flip, since they are in India!

I have a contract with Just energy and i enrolled for a low price plan but they keep increasing the delivery charges and over the year and half that i am with Just energy, the prices kept increasing exponentially.

when we signed up for just energy per sister n laws recommendation were told would get 100 off our second bill and she would get 100 off her bill.. did not happen when called regarding this and even spoke with a supervisor was adv no referral number on account which I know for a fact was done. I feel like we have been scammed and now are in a contract that would cost us to get out of.. Did hear from Just Energy, they did review all calls and did credit our acct.

I've been with Just Energy since I relocated to TX and they decided to start scamming me this month. First off, when they returned my call it read "United Airlines" and was flagged by my spam blocker. I am barely home to use electricity and when I am home my lights be off so how my bill tripled in 1 month. Also the usage is not showing on the site and has been under maintenance??? I'm reporting this to BBB and filing for my money back. Whoever took over this company is a criminal and I will be contacting a lawyer. Don't send me that bot message reply either scammers!

Subject: In-Club - Poor Club Experience / Complaints - Lee [Incident: 230919-017685]
Dana Picasso, License # U-15980, Badge # 2008796 (she is the trainer working for a Local Marketing company) she have my laptop and ask me to login Consumer Energy to get all information needed and my phone to register and transfer 7 accounts to Just energy as my right hand was injured at that time since 5/11/23 that was why she did all transfer for me while I was shopping inside Sam's club, she finished right before 6pm on 5/14/23, Sunday, she told me that we will pay less, not more by switch the service under Just Energy with $65 Sam's club gift card ($45 + $20) on each account.
Our house gas bill is triple as $105 that bring my attention to investigate and find out that Just Energy charge rate of $12.29 vs $3.54 by consumer energy before we switch to Just Energy, Consumer energy rate is $3.50 in Sept as we still have one account did not switch, so I am able to check and compare the rate.
I ask Sam's club to help and protect their members NOT to be ripped off by Just Energy with $65 Sam's club gift card to rip off their member's money, it is about $100/monthly over charge with 7 of our accounts.
It is SHAME with Dana working for Just Energy and training others to rip off Sam's club members. the manager and many staff at Roseville Sam's club knowing exactly that Just Energy rip off their members, but did nothing about to warn their members NOT to sign up with them while they are at all Sam's club daily in the afternoon and try to SCAM their members for money ????
I am waiting for the manager, Susan id# 75042 with Just Energy cooperate office to get back with me as she submit a request on 9/18/23 for investigation with their compliance dept to refund me $402.50 over charge so far already.
Just Energy need to wait until the next meter reading to cancel or change to the lower rate that is another joke as you can cancel the gas service online with Consumer Energy to be effective any date, They said there will be $50 cancellation fee if you do not call Just Energy to cancel the service.

"MONEY HUNGRY SHARKS"
I have been a customer of Just Energy for years and use to tell my friends and family about how much I love Just Energy, but after today not so much. I received a phone call from an agent stating my contact was up for renewal. I advised her to email me the contact, so I could look it over,because I was at work. She goes on to say that it would only take 3 minutes,and told me that my new rate would be .10 per kilowatt. Okay great that's cheaper than what I am paying now. I review the contract, and there are all sort of hidden fees, thus bringing the charge per kilowatt to almost. 17 per kilowatt. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS COMPANY WOULD TRY TO SCAM A LONG TIME CUSTOMER!! My current contract was not set to expire until December of this year. I will definitely be calling first thing tomorrow to cancel this contract, and go with another company. I am writing this review because at this point I DO NOT TRUST Just Energy, and they will try and lie and say I didn't cancel within 3 days. I need this in case I have to report the to the BBB or the media to warn others. I have also noticed a lot of people complaining about the same thing in their reviews. This company was great, but now I see they are some money hungry sharks. I am definitely down switching to another company.

This company are horrible on their rates. I was on the phone 3 hours and they did not resolve my issue. Avoid this company they are not worth the hassle and their customer service is horrible. My wife is pregnant and our lights are off because of a mistake they made now I have to wait even though it’s not my fault I’m switching asap.

Met a salesman at Sam's club trying to entice me to switch to just energy for our electricity.
The guy basically lied to me and deflected my questions, and acted like I was silly for not signing up.
Sucked me in by saying do you want a free gift card. These guys are predatory. Avoid.

"Starting to hate them."
I have been with just energy for years, but specifically THIS YEAR something has been off with my bills. In June, my bill was $198. In July, my bill was $308.72, and now my August bill is $444.82. I’ve called them several times and I always get a person of whom I can barely understand, and they tell me that the reason why my bill is this high is because “it is the summer time and it’s just like that”. I was on the nights free plan so that made absolutely no sense to me. I work everyday from 7:30am and I get home around 6:00pm, and I turn off EVERYTHING in my home before work. So how am I using $444 worth of energy? I’m not even home during the day (with all of my lights turned off) and when I come home I’m getting “nights free”. I will be switching to another light company because their rates are fishy and I cannot afford to pay a light bill that is larger than my car note.

"We filed a claim about our high bill regarding winter 2022"
We filed a claim in April 2023 about our high electricity bill during the winter months of 2022. Our bill had spiked 2 to 3x the normal amount within one month. Not only that, we took a trip out of state for two weeks in December but somehow our bill was higher than ever before. The A/C wasn't even on, no lights were left on inside the house, the only light left on was the porch light which was an LED light. We filed a claim as soon as our meter was switched and our bill has lowered significantly in the past few months. (Mind you, we have called them at least 3 times, and still no updates/ attempts to resolve the issue) Their supervisor told us that this issue would be resolved within 30 to 60 business days but it's been way past the window of time. When we called them again to follow up, they said that they haven't come up with a resolution yet and referred us to Oncor. We called Oncor and they told us they weren't provided any information from Just Energy and they just referred us back to Just Energy. We are really tired of this back-and-forth blaming game. We just want this issue resolved. We are definitely switching because of this hassle.
