"The best travel insurance"

Everyone was really helpful and kind. They were quick with responses and just the best people to work with in an unpleasant situation. I would for sure choose True Traveller again as I trust this company that if something bad happens they are here to help even when you are on the other side of the planet.

"From Travellers to Travellers"

I have been using True Traveller for several years. Fortunately, I have never had an accident and therefore there was no need to submit a claim for compensation. However, I recently contracted a serious eye inyoufection during my stay in Canada, which took me from one eye clinic to another and eventually I ended up in the emergency room of a hospital.

As soon as I contacted True Traveller, everything went smoothly. After submitting all the required documents, my claim was processed and the company paid all the expenses I had claimed. Communication with the team (in my case, Dasa) was clear and quick as they always responded promptly. Thank you!

"Claim with TT and the whole experience"

I must admit that the whole process from raising claim to reimbursement and receiving money on my bank account was super-smooth and fast. No extra hassle. No delays. All perfect. I would recommend TT to everyone.

"Direct contact via webpage is great"

While the Canadian medical system is a shambles, refusing to accept preauthorisation from insurance, True Traveller eventually sorted out the claim and paid within 24 hours of us directly contacting them via the website. Prior to this it had taken us almost 4 weeks to try and resolve the issue ourselves

"Quick and Efficient Service"

The website was user friendly. Obtaining a quote and making a policy purchase was easy and straightforward.
The paperwork for filing a claim was minimal and I received a response from the TT customer service immediately. Reimbursement only took a couple days.

Amazing insurance company, I've had 2 accidents now and have been so worried about the medical bills but I have never had any issues with them. Would definitely recommend.

"First Class response to my complaint"

My step son has a policy with this company. He is currently in Canada on a work visa and has sadly suffered a skiing accident, for which he had full cover.
Their dealing with his claim has been appalling. They have not treated him fairly, they have caused foreseeable harm to his mental well being and credit record, and he is now being threatened with bailiffs by the Canadian hospital who are understandably extremely unhappy that this insurance company has not paid them, despite many, many emails and many. many phone calls. What do we have to do Mr Tim Riley (MD) for you to take action and resolve this matter?
Edit - Tim Riley (MD) responded to our review and separate message immediately with a full and comprehensive report. We have also been contacted by Stefan at Axa who has finalised the outstanding claim position, also providing evidence of payments made to date. We are extremely grateful for the professional response to our complaint by True Traveller. The issue clearly rests with an inefficient hospital system in Canada. My step son has all the information he needs now to deal with the local hospital. I am truly impressed and would now have no hesitation in recommending True Traveller to anyone.

"Definitely recommend, worth it, no fuss"

Communication with True Traveler is great, they have a 24 hr number to call and they were helpful. I wanted them to help me find a doctor in the USA but it took a couple of days of back and forth with emails, so in the end I just went ahead and booked it myself, seemed easier. I then sent an email with the invoice and the documents they requested, and got my refund for medical costs within a couple of days. Super easy and no problems! Great service and I'm very happy with it. Every time I've called they've been really helpful and it does feel like you're talking to someone who understands you, rather than someone reading a script.

"Very quick and communicative"

My claim took approximately 8 hours from sending the email to receiving money into my bank account.

Its never usually a simple experience dealing with insurance typically but I couldn't have asked for a quicker turnaround than that.
