"DONT BUY"
DONT BUY! WORST PRODUCT AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY WILL TAKE MONTHS TO DELIVER AND IT WONT WORK. SCAM COMPANY!

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY..."
The first thing you need to know about this company is that, in the UK at least, they have failed to submit their accounts and the Government have petitioned them to wind up.
Speaking of 'wind-ups', here is my experience.
Two boxes ordered with the lights and one 'Fancy Neon' light. The Fancy Neon light did not work. The company supplied a firmware upgrade. It didn't solve the issue.
The main light strip that connects to the TV obviously has to bend 90 degrees to go around the corners of the TV. There are brackets supplied to do this, which I used on both sets of strips on TWO TV's. The light strips are brittle and aren't designed to be bent AT ALL. So, what happened was that on two of the corners, one on each TV, bending the light strip as per the installation instructions resulted in a loose connection that made the lights flicker and you had to press your finger on them to get them to stop. Bending the lights obviously cracks the brittle connections within the strips. What also happens is when you remove the strips, they leave a sticky residue that's really hard to remove.
Despite me explaining all of these issues multiple times in emails and their website clearly stating that they will give a refund for faults within the warranty period, they are refusing to refund me or even discuss the issue. They are saying that I bent the light strip, but you have to bend it to install it. It has to be bent around the four corners of your TV.
The fact that it happened on two separate strips on two different TV's shows it's a design flaw.
Regardless, there are consumer protection laws in the UK that this company are in breach of. But what else would you expect from a company whose accounts are overdue and are the subject of a wind up order.
My advice is to steer clear.
It's pretty obvious from other reviews on here that the company have no intention of reimbursing anyone who has an issue. They'll do their firmware updates etc (which don't work) but anything else and they aren't bothered.
I implore you NOT to buy anything from this company.
It's obvious they are in financial difficulties and are deciding to not offer any customer support when it comes to refunds they are legally obliged to issue.
I'm going to small claims court with them because they owe me £500 to refund me for their shoddy product.
If you can, pay the extra and go with Philips Hue. Far superior product in every sense.
Use Fancy LED at your peril.

I've had a box from fancyleds for years and it's been brilliant. Brings an additional dimension to watching tv and films which is fantastic. The customer service has also been top notch, responding quickly and resolving my recent issue regarding a new order perfectly

"Incapable of delivering the product"
Stay away! The company doesn’t have a mechanism for tracking shipments. A few days after I ordered, the shipment was started, but never arrived at the shipping company. It’s been missing for two weeks and they are “Investigating”. No update. Disorganized company. Product maybe good, but you are unlikely to get it.

"The SAD Truth"
When I switched to Linux I couldn't keep using my Hue set-up because there is no app to control it. I had to either buy a Hue sync box or go for a different environment. After a lot of research and watching reviews on Youtube I decided to go with Fancyleds. Which was a HUGE mistake! Here's why...
I connect a Linux PC and a PS5 to my Fancyleds sync box. After installing everything things looked ok at first. But then I had to reroute a cable and after plugging it back in I had a blank screen and no leds. It took me about two hours of resetting the box, unplugging and replugging cables, restarting the PC and lots of trial and error. Then it seemed to work again. But the box was so unreliable and unpredictable that it was impossible to tell what action had fixed the problem.
The next day when I booted my pc... No leds again. Another hour of trial and error until it worked. I have worked with computers for about 30 years or so and even though I am no ID expert I know how to solve problems and have done so every time I had one. Not with Fancyleds. They are just not reliable.
When the problem kept coming back almost on a daily basis I contacted support. I described the problem in great detail. Their reply asked for the exact same things that I had already explained in my question to them. I replied with even more details and telling them the same things again. After that no answer anymore from their side.
After losing hours to this BS situation I finally found time to play a PS5 game one day. But not for long because that terrible box completely messed up the colors. Another two hours of trying different cables and all kinds of things I could come up with. Nothing solved the problem. So I contacted support again. Same procedure... I explained my problem in great detail, uploaded a screenshot, told them what I have tried to solve the problem etc. In their reply they again asked me all the things that I had already explained, told me to try exactly the things that I already tried and... I think in both cases they didn't even read my question but just copy-pasted their standard reply. Of course I took a lot of time out of my day again to explain everything again. Result... No answer.
Support ignored my request to either help me make that broken peace of electronics work or refund me. Twice!
And to make things even worse. The first email I wrote to them was asking for an invoice. Which they refused to provide!
I lost a lot of time and money with this. In the end I was able to make it work somehow. It's ok now for the PS5 as far as I can tell (didn't have much time to test it) but for the PC I must switch inputs each and every day to get it back to work. It's a pain in the neck...
For a bit more money I could have bought that Hue sync box. I have rarely regretted a purchase as much as buying these (notso)fancyleds.
This same post was removed by the mods on Reddit... Go figure...

"I purchased the 2.1 model a couple of…"
I purchased the 2.1 model a couple of weeks before Black Friday, but it arrived afterward. When I noticed there was a discount, I sent them multiple emails. Despite their claim of responding within approximately one day, they didn’t reply for 17 days. When they finally responded, I asked if I could still receive the Black Friday discount, but they refused. This feels incredibly unfair—first, my emails were ignored, and now I’m stuck with a late delivery, unable to return the item, and missing out on the discount everyone else received.

"Great value and excellent product. "
Recently upgraded from a cheap set of ambient tv lights.
These are much better value than Phillips Hue (even better on Black Friday) and don’t have the camera and sync problems I’ve heard about with Govee.
Depending on your tv set up, applying the led strip is the biggest challenge. My tv is a 55” and is wall mounted, so I needed some small steps to be able to reach. It still only took about 10 mins to put them in place. I used some picture mounting, Velcro fixings to attach the box to the rear of my tv so there were no wires showing.
My tv setup is not ideal for this type of product as it’s against a dark background, however I’m super impressed with the end result. The lighting effect is brilliant and responds instantly to the colours on screen.
Switching between HDMI inputs is easy via the app and everything connected up and synced in no time at all.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this product and company. Shipping took a little longer, but that was probably due to Black Friday.

Fancyleds ships a 250+$ piece equipment without signature or receipt tracking and now someone is enjyoing the box I paid for without me being able to get it back or obtain a refund. Tracking on their website does not provide much more.

"Beste Sync Box derzeit"
