"Pain when you need them, ok to buy"
They are ok when you buy it. When you have to get in touch, is a pain. been trying to extend policy for last week.
They are now removing all support for CoronaVirus, while I am stuck in a foreign country not able to go back. If you think you want a trust worthy company, I would stay clear. Again, easy to buy but not at all useful or helpful when needed to claim or even extend. Been a customer for 4 yrs, and still.

"Reliable and affordable Globelink"
For all my holidays over the years I have always taken out Travel Insurance with Globelink. I started off as a Saffa as they called us because it was the most affordable and the terms were very straightforward.
When I became a British citizen I saw no reason to change and, continued. Although I have been fortunate enough never to have to claim I felt confident that Globelink would refund and cancel my insurance because I could not travel due to the CV19.
My faith was justified. Global have cancelled and fully refunded my Round the World policy.
Qantas have forwarded my trip to Australia to 2021 and I will be taking another travel insurance policy with Global then.
By the way, it couldn't have taken more than two emails and 15 minutes to receive my refund from Global.

"When my flight dates were changed"
When my flight dates were changed , my policy dates were changed .
When my flight was cancelled , my policy was cancelled and full refund .
When I spoke on the phone , she was friendly and helpful.
If / when we can fly again this will be my go to insurance company.

"Good choice for a travel insurance"
Great support and fast answers. I received a refund after my request for a particular problem and I feel very satisfied for the service offered by Gobelink Insurance.

"Bought over 75 travel insurance which…"
Bought over 75 travel insurance which was great value very easy to navigate online quote etc. Then the dreaded Covid19 happened so contacted Globelink they were so quick in responding and gave me a full refund the same day. Now I call that Super Service thanks Globelink we will be coming back to you next year for our travel insurance.

"WAS a long-term customer"
Was a long-term customer and never had to make a claim until now. Hardly anything is covered. Isn't having to cancel your trip for coronavirus a good enough reason to make a claim? Clearly not.

"Initial response was not so good,but it all ended well"
I had a Comprehensive trip cancellation insurance with Globelink and paid extra for a higher coverage amount as our trip was quite expensive. Like many others, my trip was cancelled due to Coronavirus so I emailed Globelink in regards to the cancellation insurance and what would be needed to make a claim, because at this stage I could not get hold of the airline nor our tour operator and thought all was lost.
The agent who replied, politely said that I was not covered and that I should read about the updated Coronavirus page on their website.
I re-read it and it said that IF I could not get money back from the transport company or a tour operator, it would be covered under the Force Majeure so as far as I was concerned I should have been covered and pointed this out to the agent. Never heard back from her.
Luckily, in the meanwhile, the airline decided to refund all tickets and the tour-operator agreed to postpone our trip for a year so I didn't need to make a claim at all.
I emailed Globelink (Josie Skinner), in regards cancelling my insurance completely since according to the information on their site, this was possible to do on some occasions and within a few moments it was done and money was returned for the unused insurance.
Overall I was very happy with the service, though the initial response to my enquiry about making a claim was not good and contradictory to what was said on the site.
I will use this insurance again next year although I will confirm first that should something like this happen again, I WILL be covered as I got a small heart attack when the first agent said I was not covered.

"Excellent service"
Having arranged a travel insurance with Globelink I was obliged to cancel it for the time being because of the closing of all Australian borders due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
I received immediate and courteous help from, Josie Skinner in cancelling the policy. I am most impressed with this company's service at an extremely busy time.

"I have a lot of time for Globelink"
I have a lot of time for Globelink. They are clear, well informed and helpful. I have rung them several times and even though they must be incredibly busy at the moment, they are always courteous and helpful. I asked to cancel a travel insurance policy for my husband, because he couldn't travel and because it was within the 14 days cooling off period, it was permitted. I have a separate annual policy with them and they have always been helpful with any queries relating to that.

The initial phone call is answered by a knowledgeable, well spoken and friendly person, straight away, ( no queues, buttons to push, )
My one and only claim was dealt with promptly and easily when I broke my shoulder in 2016.
We are 100% happy with every aspect of this company.
