"My New Keyboard Plugs"

I had my mind set on a keyboard from a specific brand after watching more than a dozen reviews on YouTube, only to find that my options were really thin. After a quick search, I found KeyboardCo and was shocked to find that they had the specific unit I wanted for cheaper than I had seen it for anywhere, and with free 2-day delivery.

I couldn't have asked for much else.

"Very helpful and knowledgeable"

Phoned up their technical line for some advice on mechanical switches and some issues I was having with my existing keyboard. The person on the other end was super knowledgeable and really took the time to advise and help me. Based on this experience I ordered a new keyboard and it was delivered next day.

"PLEASE PLEASE Avoid This Company"

PLEASE PLEASE Avoid This Company. I can only echo what others have said. Almost laughably this keyboard also echoes and has from day one. Hit a key once and it'll repeatttttttttttt. Bluetooth is utterly unreliable and drops haphazardly. The latest rigmarole is the charge light flashing rapidly from green to red and now my battery has failed so I'm permanently tethered with a mercilessly short cable. Key Chronic more like. Blue toothless. GARBAGE. I bought this from The Keyboard Company (UK based). I sent it back soon after purchase. They simply returned it to me as they couldn't reproduce the 'symptoms' at their end. Just a heads up if you buy from them. It matters not to a consumer whether The Keyboard Company can reproduce 'symptoms' or not. The product simply isn't fit for purpose and well Keychron and The Keyboard Company know it. AVOID.

"Unprofessional international delivery."

The shop might be a good one, I simply do not know yet. I placed an international order, but the way delivery works, is not acceptable for the price, in my opinion.

No custom fees notifications (although the support told me I would be notified before the delivery). In fact, they changed the delivery date without notification, did not provide any details about custom fees and tried to deliver, when I was not expecting it. I simply was not fast enough to open the door, and now I have to write emails and make phone calls to find out, where the order is.

P.S. I have received the order and decided to update the review, because all items came with scratched surfaces, one in the cable slot (which means it was in use before me). I am thinking to return at least 2 of 3 items now. Very sad, as it clearly confirms one of the reviews here, that the used items are sold as new, but cheaper. As a customer, I would like to know that in advance, it is very important. Also, if they were scratched during delivery, then it could be easily avoided by more suitable wrapping/packaging. Customer support also did provide me with the ambiguous information (they tell one thing, in fact the other happens). Overall, I have a feeling the shop is good, but something wrong is happening.

"Great shop!"

I'm so pleased I found this shop. Nice website and a great place to buy a UK/ISO Keychron. I also rang customer services to amend some delivery details and Helen was extremely helpful and sorted it out for me instantly.

She even followed up via email to make sure I was happy with my order. Nothing but good things to say!

I went for a Q3 Max and I love it. Thanks, Keyboard Company!

"What's not to like"

I knew approximately which keyboard I wanted when I visited, but they seem to have a wide range of non-keyboard products which I will be investigating.

"Terrible service"

Purchased two keyboards from this company back in 2019, both returned in accordance with their terms and conditions and refunds were issued.

Recently placed an order and they have declined to do further business with me due to the previous returns.

Bruce (owner) sent me the following:

"Thanks for your business. We do appreciate it. But we also have some problems with the returns.
You've had two keyboards that I can tell, and both were returned and refunded.
It's no reflection on you but we lose significant money when we have a return like this, we never get to sell the unit for full price once it has been out and returned.
At best we spend money repackaging them and sell them cheap.

We do understand it's not easy to settle upon a keyboard with all the noise and aesthetic considerations. So returns under the EU distance selling regs are a two edge sword, they are useful for reassurance, but painful if used too often.
The lack of places to actually try out keyboards doesn't help.
We are hundreds of pounds down already and your business is just costing us too much.

We are going to have to decline further orders on the basis that our success rate with you has been so low. And on things that are to some extent, intangible.
It's not right, or legal to take away the option to return, so this is the only way we can prevent repeated losses.
I am very sorry..."

This is effectively a penalty for following the terms and conditions in their returns policy, since "It's not right, or legal to take away the option to return".

BUYER BEWARE, IF YOU DECIDE TO RETURN AN ITEM THIS COMPANY WILL BLACKLIST YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS, AND DECLINE FUTURE ORDERS.

"Happy customer"

I have purchased three keybords from here and each time their customer service has been spectacular - any questions are answered fast and with great knowledge and recommendations.

The keyboards that I've bought have been nothing but amazing. I work as a programmer and am a heavy user so not only does the keyboard need to function well, it needs to be able to last. I haven't had any problems and recommend KeybordCo for anyone looking for a proper keyboard.
