"Quite worried after reading these reviews"
After seeing these reviews I’m quite worried that I’m not going to get my canvas on free prints of my kids. Delivery was estimated for today, it hasn’t moved from transit in Bedford since 22:08 5.10.2022.
I’ve called and was told it’s been handed over to Royal Mail, tracking number doesn’t exist in Royal Mail tracking

"Worse than Hermes, if you can believe that!"
I can't post what I wanted to as I was contacted about offensive language. Let's just leave it at this. Hermes are dreadful and Whistl are worse.

"Awful"
Awful. All you really want from a delivery company is to get your goods safely and in the expected timeframe. I was told 2-4 days from dispatch for this item - a small paperback book from Blackwells. It took 7 working days, and in that time the tracking really gave no clue as to it's progress. Also, there's no way to email them - they just tell you to speak to the vendor (which I did - they could do nothing).
Will avoid Whistl, and sadly won't order from Blackwells again as long as they use them.

"Tracking says delivered but parcel not here…"
Tracking says delivered but that's fiction....Home all day, no couriers visited.
Rubbish costomer service...website says to contact retailer if there is a problem with delivery.
If I could give no stars I would.

"Poor poor.."
Poor poor... parcel picked up from sender 9 days ago. No sign of it. Only sender can contact Whistl. Luckily sender has refunded... parcel disappeared!!

"Gone With the Whistl..."
The reviews here really speak for themselves...but I'll add a bit more, because I'm nothing if not generous like that.
What I suspect is happening is that contracts are being awarded to the cheapest bidder, obviously. I really don't know what the likes of Whistl, Evri or Yodel could actually be said to specialise in, but it certainly isn't logistics. They do, however, seem to have a real knack for recruiting people who struggle to comprehend the complicated machinations of things like doorbells, letter boxes or flights of stairs.
I have now experienced the same issue (goods disappearing into the aether while marked as 'delivered') with goods ordered from very reputable sellers via Amazon and eBay. In some instances, I don't believe these sellers have much choice in how these goods get shipped.
The only advice I can offer is to order from companies directly and ensure they specify shipping - any reputable company will do so. The best way to deal with bloated, bullying entities such as this, and I include platforms like Amazon and eBay here, is to starve them.
While it increasingly might feel like the individual has little power, these monsters simply disappear when you withdraw your attention (and custom) from them. This little piece of wisdom has served me well in many areas of life, in fact, though I have to admit it will not resolve a phobia of front doors or indeed, customers. Sorry Whistl et al.

"What's happened to my parcel?"
I ordered a book from Brit books on 11th Sept. I got in touch with them 2 weeks ago & I was informed that my book had been dispatched by Whistl on 12th Sept which is now 3 weeks ago. I don't have a reference number to track it. I had looked at the reviews for Whistl before I ordered the book. They were very poor but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I'll never use them again.

"NON DELIVERY"
I buy a lot on line, but if the item is going to be delivered by WHISTL, then it never arrives. I have had a lot of refunds for goods which have been lost, in transit (forever), etc. The problem is that you don;t know when you order an iem online, who is MEANT to be delivering it. They don't even dserve ONE star. M Hurst
