"Avoid at all costs"

I booked a Searchastay property through VRBO. I tried to get in contact with the property manager to ask a question for weeks to no avail. Their phone number does not work. Then several weeks after I booked I noticed that Searchastay DELETED the property listing off VRBO so I started to panic. It still showed I had a reservation but I couldn’t view any of the property photos/details anymore. Finally 13 days before my trip they responded to my email telling me my reservation was cancelled after it had already been confirmed. I was supposed to stay at one of their listings in NYC for two months. I had booked my flight, made travel arrangements, and subleased my own apartment in Los Angeles. They then saw how desperate I was and tried to get me to book a new listing with them outside of VRBO which I refused to do because they already screwed me over once. I am now completely without a place to live for two months. If I had not been proactive trying to contact the property manager I’m pretty sure they never would’ve even told me the listing was canceled and I would’ve shown up at check-in in New York City with no place to stay. Avoid this company at all costs.

"We had a great time at the condo"

We had a great time at the condo. The close proximity to the parks and entertainment was great. The unit was clean and inviting. Loved the pool. Everyone was helpful from the beginning of our booking to the end. We’ll stay there again in the future.

Overall good time but the internet wasn't working and expect to buy toilet paper. Great area and nice house though!

"Amazing stay!"

Amazing stay!! Love the location! Beds were very comfy the home had everything we needed. The host stayed in communication with us the whole time attending all our needs. Would definitely rent again.

Great host! My daughter was there for a senior trip and he answered my messages no matter what time it was and very polite.

"Unreliable"

Unreliable. Booked room via Vrbo platform for a sharestay property. Room canceled last minute. Vrbo unaccommodating despite glitchy system. Sharestay unavailable by phone to assist with issue. Unable to find another rental due to high demand/last minute/price. Had to cancel entire trip. Never doing buisness with Vrbo or Sharestay again! If your smart, you wouldn't either!

"Perfect location; house needs attention"

The house was in a perfect location and a safe neighborhood, however some finishing touches that would’ve made our trip better were: more towels, a cleaner pool, not enough paper towels/toilet paper, some of the furniture was broken, and the shower was broken and the landscaping was unkept. I think this house has the potential to be an AMAZING experience, but there needs to be some more attention to detail to the house.

"Awesome place"

Awesome place, excellent hotel and the fact you can use everything from the hotel is amazing. The bed is extremely comfortable, huge bathroom. The kitchen is very useful and nice to have! My husband could work and I could rest without interrupting each other because of the two separated spaces. Nice view, excellent location. Would definitely come back!

Great place to stay, beautiful and confortable condo. Zone is fantastic.
The manager very friendly and on professional support when hosting guests. Would recomend it 100%

"Rented a vacation home in Miami through…"

Rented a vacation home in Miami through VRBO with Search-a-Stay as managing company. After flights excursions and reservations booked for 12 people received a email saying our reservation was being canceled due to no longer doing short term rentals this was BS the property was then listed as a new listing for 4times the price. This is considered BAIT AND SWITCH! Can not believe this company represent a client that would do this as well as the company allows this to happen. DO NOT RENT from this managing company!!
