"The house was clean and spacious"

The house was clean and spacious. The area was good, close to the beach (10/15 min) and within walking distance of restaurants . The pool was smaller than it looked in the photo, good for kids. The only issue we had was with the lockbox, it was a bit difficult to navigate ,took a while before we got the hang of it.

Amazing townhome! Beautiful just as shown in the pictures. We booked as coaches coming in for a competition and this rental gave us the space, peace, and relaxation we needed away from crowds and tourists. Conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. We look forward to booking again here!

"Don’t even know where to start and end"

Don’t even know where to start and end.
1. Pool was big disappointment. Not cleaned. As promised in email pool is cleansed only on Mon and Thursday but that’s lie as no one came to clean. Full of dirst and leaves. Water level in pool too low that cannot even use the filter.

2. Floor in house very dirty not sure when it was last cleaned or mopped. We had to go out bought buckets and mop and had to clean whole house floor.

3. All furniture in house has dust/sand on it. Not cleaned or wiped at all. We had to buy wipes and clean it.

4. Was promised will get Air mattress/roll away bed extra bedding not there as promised. On asking they said they have left it there but previous renter took it with them. Tell me to buy from Amazon and they will reimburse. Bunch of lies.

5. Trash bins are full and over flowing no place to put any new trash.

6. Front and back yard lot of tree branches in the yard......not cleaned or picked up.

7. Found 4 dead cockroaches in the house when we cleaned and mopped whole house.

8. Informed then about all these issues on day of check in and was told they are coordinating with team and will get back me and say they pay hefty fee for cleaning and is not what they like. But no one cared to call back or message back. Every single day I messaged search a stay in 5 days if our stay and everything get same reply we are coordinating with team and get back. Our trip is now done and still no one has cared to call back or message back.

9. Finally after check out req refund of security deposit and now they say refund are processed only on 5th if each month as we checked out on April 7th. Hence now have to wait until next month 5th for refund.

10. Now they are telling me to remind them on 1st of next month so they do not miss my refund.

11. Despite of reminder received only $500 refund of security deposit instead is $525.

I can go on and on but bottom line is this house and searchastay management company is not trustworthy and I would not recommend to stay there even if it is for free.

I booked a rental on VRBO via Searchstay in Rosemary Beach, FL and had flights booked. VRBO and Searchastay cancelled the reservation via email to me with ZERO explanation. There are NO other rentals available at this point - VRBO and Searchastay will not return my emails and have not called me back. Do not trust Searchastay. I received a BOOKING CONFIRMATION and had to agree to a NO CANCELLATION POLICY.

We had an amazing time and experience with this rental property. It was perfect for our larger group and everyone had a blast. Very close to everything you need. The owners respond very quick and answer any questions you may have. The only problem we encountered was confirming an early check in time with them because some one stayed the night before and rented last minute so we couldn’t check in early anymore due to the cleaning crew needing to clean the house for us. Wish we found that out a little sooner but not a big deal at all and other than that we had the best weekend ever!!! Very impressed with this property and hope to stay again!!!

Location of the property is great with lots of restaurants close by and near financial district. Very urban feel with a mix of homeowners and vacationers. The unit itself was quite dated and needs many fixes. The window blinds were broken and the sliding door in the guest bedroom was busted. Furniture was old and very low to ground (1990's style?). Carpet had stains. Air conditioner and dehumidifier kept the temperature cool. Unit has washer/dryer which is handy. Building has 2 pools, hot tub, huge workout facility and party room.
