People came to look at the job and said they would quote, but never quoted. I had to rush around trying to contact them to ask them to do what they said they would so the job could move forward. Is there some perverse incentive to do this?

I would like to provide some feedback regarding my experience with your website. I have found it quite challenging to navigate effectively to locate the information I need.

Additionally, when I receive notifications of potential contractors from HiPages, the process to access the messages is cumbersome, often leading me in circles. This has created significant inconvenience when trying to connect with leads.

Over the course of my three advertisements, I have received at least six leads. However, I have only been able to communicate with three of them through my email address, as your platform's messaging function does not seem to be working effectively.

Improving the navigation and accessibility of leads on your website would greatly enhance the user experience.

I have just given up trying to contact the leads. Thank you for considering my feedback.

"Hipages hears your complain"

I have hired many tradies from Hipages in the past and always had good experience. However today I am going to talk about a bad one and the role of Hipages.
Couple of weeks back I noticed a broken tile in my roof of first floor. Hence I asked for a quote to fix it. I received a few quotes and I selected one. He said it requires repointing the roof and replace the broken tile. On the day he forgot to bring the tile but did the repointing and said he will replace the broken tile tomorrow. He insisted he needs money so I paid. After that he stopped taking my calls. I waited many days and finally reached out to Hipages. Hipages called him and he agreed to do the pending job. After a few days Hipages reached out to him again to follow up and he said he has completed the job. Then Hipages called me to confirm and I was surprised. I said the job is still pending. I don't know what Hipages did but the next day he came and replaced the tile. He even apologiged but I said I just want to make sure you complete your job what you had promised and have nothing against you.
I am really thankful to Hipages to help me here.

**NOT RECOMMENDED** did not publish bad review. i engaged a concreter (Sincrete) i paid 50% deposit up front $3500 job waited 2 weeks for the booking on the day Justin advised he was on another job and couldn't do my concreting and also would need to add $800 to the quote to do the job so i requested my deposit back.

Recently sourced a plumber through Hi Pages. Quoted $8,600 for the work and we paid 50% upfront. The plumber took four months to attend the job. Made a total mess and left trenches uncovered leaving dangerous holes in our yard, broke the storm water pipes and dug up the internet cables amongst other things.

He then had the audacity to adjust his quote wanting a further $9000 to complete the job.

Verdict. Keep away from Hi Pages and Southern Plumbing.
