"Faulty goods"
I have been in dispute with this company for 6 months regarding a leather chair ( part of two piece seat).
From the first instance I was dissatisfied with the chair cushion which became very creased and wrinkled from start,whereas the sofa cushions were fine.
The company insisted this was due to myself not " ( ((dressing cushion " )
I could apparently attend correctly to the sofa but not the cushion!
They have sent their representative 3 times who initially stated the filling was faulty and provided replacement which made no difference.
I will now be considering legal action against this
company.
I have now received the latest report from a visit from this companies representative which stated it was the natural characteristics of the soft filling and leather of the cushion to wrinkle!The so called technician on their 3 rd visit was again from a company called Emmiera which would appear has a contract with the
company.
I wish to dispute your version of events : After the the cushion interior was fitted I again felt it necessary to expression my continued my dissatisfaction,you refused to contemplate any further action.
I he stated the filling was faulty and you replaced why are you now say it is : normal settlement: ?
I contacted Emmiera who then discussed the matter with yourselves which led to this latest visit.
I fail to understand how you referr to it as " normal settlement" when the sofa cushions are not affected having had the same amount of use.
I feel this company is refusing to fulfill their responsibility.

"Customer care lacking"
We requested a photo of the sofa before dispatch but The Chersterfield company so we could see the sofa. They could only send photo with plastic sheet covering which offered no reassurance. Despite being made in their workshop in Manchester. Once paid outstanding balance we received an email saying the sofa would be delivered. Within 2 hrs they booked I for the following day. This was very short notice and required me to change my business hours. No authentic way to change the delivery because the sofa turned up 11am next day. Fast service so pleased to get sofa so quickly, but dissapointing the lack of customer consideration. As it was turned out OK but not without a lot of effort my end. The sofa is beautiful and comfortable and does what it says. Just customer service let themselves down.

"Wish I’d have brought from Next! First off the samples that are given…"
First off the samples that are given are not what you might get… I took a sample in May and has I ordered in June it was a different colour and texture. I would post a picture of the sample and what I actually got if I could.
Brought 2 sofa’s on 5th June 2023 over the phone no invoice or receipt was sent, we rang a few times to check progress, a delivery company arranged delivery and it was delivered on 1 Aug 2023, once it had been delivered I noticed a scratch on the arm, I rang the chesterfield company straight away this was within the hour. I am not sure if this left the factory like this or if the delivery company did it. They said as good will they would send someone out to repair it, the first man’s van broke down and had to cancel then the next repair guy said he wouldn’t be able to do it, it needed a whole new piece of leather on the arm due it being a vintage looking leather. I spoke to the chesterfield company who stated that they could order more leather and send someone out to do it, i refused as I didn’t want to be responsible for ensuring the colour match of the existing leather. I asked for the sofa to go back to them for the repair. It was picked up by their delivery service on 8 September, time slot should have been between 8-12am they arrived at 5.30pm with no room in their van, and had been advise to cover it with a blanket. The feet where dropped and the sofa was rested with no wrapping on straight to the tarmac in the road. I took photos of this! I would be really surprised if the sofa just a small scratch on the arm! I was advised it would take 3 weeks for the sofa to come back. It took the delivery company over 2 weeks to deliver it back to the chesterfield company, who knows where it had been! It was now been just over a week since it has been returned to the company who said it is ready to come out and I’ve got to wait for the delivery people to contact me. I have asked them to check it over before sending it out, the customer service representative is not helpful and feel that they are doing me a favour by even looking at the original scratch. I advised them if it comes back to me with differences in colour to the other sofa or a differing colour on the repair sofa it will all be going back. The customer service will not contact you to give updates.
I would easily recommend the Laura Ashley range in next if you’re looking for a chesterfield type sofa wish we had ordered from there now seem much better quality and better customer service!

Excellent quality English product made to order. Very responsive to queries and fantastic service from Nathan in particular. Would definitely recommend and will buy from them again.
Considered deducting a point as I was very unhappy with their courier Furdeco but decided that was unfair. However I hope that they consider my feedback on the company.
