"Paid in full but still no chair!!!!!!!"

Ordered a chair on behalf of my family for our fathers 85th Birthday present. That ship has sailed so all he will be getting is a photograph tomorrow! Ordered chair with deposit on the 8th March. Paid in full on the 2nd May. Three phone calls 14th/19th/20th May to the company who kept telling me the carrier would ring with a delivery date. Apparently on the last call when they put me on hold they telephoned and confirmed this with the carrier! So today - 23rd May called the carrier direct - they were professional and helpful but identified that they have no record that my order needs collecting from the Chesterfield company depot!!! Will be ringing to ask for my money back next week!

"disappointed with the leather"

I had great service and the communication I had with you . The sofa iit's self great . With the exception of the leather . I emailed yourself with a quick response . To be told it was the type of leather I had chosen . ButI was still not happy . Not once was did you offer to send someone out to check my sofa . I then sent aanother email stating I would use my emails and your responses in the future to back up my concerns it the sofa or chair quality does cause concerns. I am still concerned that the leather won't last the test of time . But we will wait and see

"nice sofa but bad customer service"

we had the sofa delivered not in 2 hour table as promised but it at least came the day
it was promised.
When the delivery men brought sofa in we both noticed a fault with the studding down
the arm. I contacted coustermer service and was asked for photos which we sent we
were asked for more which we sent this went on finally they said they could not see a problem.
We have not heard any more this was January of this year.
I would not buy again from them.

"Excellent product, terrible service"

I ordered & paid in full for chesterfield sofa, chair & footstool. Delivery time 6 weeks from payment. 12 weeks later still no sofa, when i called kept getting put through to the sales guy who sold it to me, who didnt know where it was, so he said. In the 13th week after asking for my money back a very sensible director called me back & delivered the sofa the following day.
It seems they were keeping it hoping for another delivery to London to half the costs.
Very stressful experience all round.
However the sofa is beautifully made.

"Really love my sofa."

I was a little unsure of ordering online without sitting on it but as the frame had a warranty I took a gamble that it would be comfortable. I got the astoria in dark brown vintage leather. It is so comfortable and looks so stunning in my old flat, I would not part with it.
The only reason I would knock a star off is really nothing to do with the sofa, but the delivery. The two men just put it on its end and ripped off the packaging with their nails I think. This resulted in two tiny nicks in the leather. As it is behind the back cushions along the top of the sofa, it is not seen and I did not notice it until they were gone.

"Happy with overall service and quality & value for money of sofas."

Service could have been better and overall communication, but we are very happy with the sofas we bought in terms of quality and value for money which was the main thing. The delivery was good and efficient but I wouldn't call it 'white glove'. I had another sofa delivered from another company and the service was exceptional and what I would class as white glove.

"Service was good, product beautiful"

Payment and delivery was ok, but more communication after deposit would have been better. Product was beautiful, absolutely no complaints with regards to that! Don't think I could ave found a better quality product in the UK!

"a good quality sofa but was disappointed because it does not look like the one in the picture"

I saw this sofa on the internet and thought it looked elegant and quite dainty, which was exactly what I wanted. When the sofa turned up, however, it was what I would call chunky. Although it is good quality, it is not what I thought I had ordered. I think the picture on the site is deceptive. Had there been pictures of the sofa from a variety of angles, I would have had a better idea of what it really looked like. This has been a disappointing experience and I would not advise someone to order from the Chesterfield Company without having seen the sofa beforehand,

"WRONG ORDER PUT THROUGH"

I CONTACTED THE COMPANY DIRECT AS I COULDN'T PUT MY ORDER THROUGH ONLINE AS IT WOULDN'T WORK, UNKNOWN TO ME THE PERSON I SPOKE TO DIDN'T KNOW THAT MY REQUIREMENTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME. THEREFORE, I ENDED UP WITH TWO SOFAS THAT I DIDN'T WANT, TO REFUSE THE ORDER WOULD HAVE COST ME A LOT OF MONEY, NOW I'M STUCK WITH SOMETHING I DIDN'T ORDER. DO NOT BELIEVE ALL YOU SEE, I DID AND NOW I'M STUCK WITH MY BIG, BIG MISTAKE.
