"They do not care about their customers!"

I ordered online for delivery. When my delivery arrived items were missing from my order. I contacted customer services who informed me some items were out of stock and others their store staff had neglected to pack them with my order. I received no receipt or confirmation of what was being delivered. Had I have known I would have cancelled the order. No effort was made to send on the items that had not been packed and they did not even try to substitute items that they say were out of stock.

I have repeated contacted customer services to inform them that my order was unsatisfactory, that I would like them to collect the items that had been delivered and issue a refund but I am just being ignored. Very poor customer service.

"Please stop this members only price"

Please stop this members only price! Your customers hate it! Need a members card for every store now. Stop this nonsense! I scanned my card but didn't scan and staff cashed my total up paid by card, noticed that it didn't go through and I did t receive members discount but they couldn't refund the items and try again . Bunch of nonsense and it's stressfull. Get rid of the members price turn it into a advert campaign. No Member card needed and be different to other super stores! Tired of all these different loyalty cards.. customer are only loyal stores that offer continuous low prices like Aldi or lidl

"Dont bother with co op delivery"

Ordered a food delivery at 3pm today to arrive between 4pm and 5pm, 5.20 the delivery still hadnt arrived so i called the helpline, was told that there had been a mistake and they had not assigned a driver to me, was told it would be with me in the next hour, 6.20pm delivery still not arrived, rang again the said delivery is definately on the way, its now almost 6.45pm over 3 hours since my order was placed and it is still not here, i am absolutely fuming, their customer service is disgusting...edit:- i rang a third time at 7.15pm, the 3rd guy on the phone said that the order had never been picked by co op because they never saw it and couldnt understand why the other 2 people i had previously spoken to about it hadnt told me, 4 hours after my initial order was placed and i asked for a refund, shame.on co op customer service
In the end i ordered through the uber eats app and i got my co op delivery within 20 minutes.....i wont be using the co op app again

"Pizza movie deal is a disaster"

Pizza movie deal is a disaster, still waiting on 2 receipts uploaded on 17th August, another rejected from 22 August even tho I checked everything before uploading receipt. Complete shambles trying to contact them about it as they don't reply at all.

My claim for the pizza and movie deal was rejected despite meeting all requirements.

This promotion wasn't thought through. Instead of spontaneously deciding on a pizza and movie night the staff new nothing about, the fact that it would take weeks to look at a claim before rejecting out of hand makes it a dishonest joke

"Free Movie Deal EVENTUALLY Honoured !"

I am another victim of the Coop 'free Amazon Prime Movie when they buy 2 pizzas and 1 ice cream for £5' offer.

UPDATE
I received my £5 gift card code today, 29 Aug 24.
I did not receive a confirmation msg at the time as stated.
I did not receive the gift card within 72 hours as stated.
So all my complaint comments stand = Shambles.

I submitted my claim on 21 Aug 24.

I have not heard anything.

No confirmation for receiving my claim.

No reply to my 'Contact Us' facility.

Yet, when I tried a resubmission on 27 Aug the process stated 'Sorry you cannot upload same receipt'.

This indicates that my claim was received on 21 Aug 24.

Their Terms and Conditions has 22 bullet points, it runs to multiple pages !

So many rules for the customer.

The vendor can do as they please and fail at every stage.

An offer 'trap' and a disgraceful shambles.

"Co-Op Dalry Road Edinburgh Store"

Been using the online delivery service, delivered by the Dalry Rd store in Edinburgh but I think I’m going to have call it day. I’ve probably placed 20 orders or so and every single order has been missing items or items not in stock. The last order was for bread and milk and a few sundries after a long weekend away. The bread was out of stock and no replacement given and the milk was sour, it had obviously been left without refrigeration at some point. So when the convenience of having your food delivered is no longer convenient then it time to call it quits.

For anybody applying for the Pizza and Movies offer you're wasting your time. Every time I apply it's rejected - makes me think they're just playing games and don't want to pay out.
