The staff at parkway camden branch do not know how to add up. I brought lottery tickets and had some to claim. First they said i had £91 to claim which should have been £76. I told them this was wrong and after getting more lottery tickets and shopping they gave me £10 less money then they should have. This has happened several times there.

"Over priced"

Over priced, they even charge for their membership card and then you find only certain coloured membership cards work in certain stores and they want to charge another £1 for you to join that stores membership? You should be ashamed of yourselves - I don't really think they understand people and they are certainly not owned by us, even though they still claim they are!

They really like to close early ey, almost 2 hours early and when told they're open until 11 "Sorry, we're close"
"Oh well, we're closed" without explanation, yet they were hanging around on their phones. Really well, no wonder they have such low ratings! 👍

"Definitely not "The People's" Cooperative!"

I am appalled by the distinct lack of overall customer service. This is supposed to be a community-based enterprise where even the smallest member is valued. I feel totally dismissed by the customer care department, having phoned several times and filled out a complaint form. The shoddy, rude service I received after I was sold a tampered with bottle of spirits from behind the counter at my local branch -the contents had been substituted with water - had to be witnessed to be believed. I had bought this for a Father's Day celebration. I tried to report this as a food safety issue, and was promised a senior manager would contact me to discuss my concerns. This was back in June 2024. Nobody ever bothered to follow this up, despite several lacklustre promises by customer call centre operatives. I will not be going back to this store again. Tescos is far cheaper and more reliable!

Recently, the Co-op were doing an offer where you could have 2 pizzas, ice cream and an Amazon voucher for a movie night! To redeem the Amazon voucher, you needed to upload a photo of the till receipt. I did this and it did not work and I messaged the company that were administering the campaign twice and I didn’t even get so much as a reply. I just feel conned now because I wouldn’t have bought the deal otherwise and after complaining twice nothing was done. I will not be back.

"delivery did not arrive"

said my delivery packed and would be delivered between 4-5pm. nothing arrived. not possible to contact them, no answer on phone. got through to customer service next day, they said I could have a refund. No explanation of why no delivery, seemed to think that was an unreasonable request. What a rubbish service! really poor.

"Shop elsewhere"

I am so disgusted by the co-op. Not only have they treated their pioneers appallingly but their prices have rocketed. The staff who remain are great but the senior management etc of the coop should be ashamed of themselves. They too will be old one day and may need help sometime. It’s all about money, profit and each person for themselves. Very very sad
