Reactive parts looks and is a very professional company. Their products are great too. I’ve currently had to sell my bike as I’ve been made redundant so had a go on the bike competition to win one , you never know, fingers crossed. But if and when I get another bike this is a go to company for parts.

"Received a used helmet - Part 2"

Thank you for your detailed review of the situation in hand. I can see we have contacted you to let you know we are currently reviewing this complicated case and endeavour to get this sorted for you as quickly as possible

As we have mentioned before, the helmet was delivered on 22/03 and you didn't contact us until 01/04. We have checked our CCTV and can confirm the helmet was inspected before despatch. Any torn labels could be the result of customs inspection which we have no control over.

Unfortunately, more than two weeks have passed since Reactive Parts' reply to my review, and no one has contacted me yet, despite stating that they will be in touch soon. Apart from that, the reply is both dishonest and provoking, so my experience is getting from bad to worse.

First of all, Reactive Parts' reply came after more than two months since their last email and after a negative public review.

I went through all the emails exchanged with Reactive Parts and it's the first time that the date of delivery and contact are mentioned, despite the fact that my initial email was sent the next weekend after delivery and well within the 28 days that Reactive Parts' returns policy allows for a return. And if it is implied that I used the helmet before contacting, I would be glad to publish the pictures that I took when I unboxed the helmet, so that anyone can verify the date and time that they were taken and the signs of use on the helmet. But I must underline that I find this comment both dishonest and insulting.

And if the CCTV has been checked and the helmet was inspected before dispatch, then the signs of use on the outer and inner side of the helmet shouldn’t have been missed. But if the helmet itself was indeed inspected, as it is stated in the reply of Reactive Parts, then this confirms my statement that the Suomy sealing sticker on the Suomy box containing the helmet was already cut, indicating that the box had already been opened before dispatch. This also confirms that the helmet sent to me was not a brand-new helmet in a sealed Suomy box, as I am stating from my very first email, and as anyone would expect when buying a new helmet from a trusted eshop. So, the hypothesis that the torn labels could be the result of customs inspection is invalid according to the aforementioned and, additionally, the outer box with the Reactive Parts tapes and the shipping documents labels were intact.

Anyway, 4 months have passed since I received this used helmet and the problem is still not solved due to the huge, and probably intentional, delays between the indefinite replies of Reactive Parts. Their unwillingness to accept their mistake and help proceed with the return and exchange of the helmet with a same one in brand new condition exhausted my patience.

I kindly ask Reactive Parts to reconsider their stance, accept their mistake and help proceed with the return and exchange of the helmet with a same one of the other 3 that are available according to their eshop, provided that it is in brand new condition, or accept the return and give a full refund, otherwise provide an adequate compensation. Any other stance indicates that Reactive Parts considers it normal and acceptable to sell a used helmet as new, without any indication or warning on their eshop.

Looking forward to a prompt, positive and definite reply.
