I bought 6D helmet a few weeks ago.

Neverthless, within a few weeks, I had a crash on my electric scooter. This was my fault because I was too damn tired and stupid at the time, but loved my scooter so I kept riding it after work, and I didnt have proper eyepiece (goggles) on me, but transparent glasses from Oakley that was a little smudged due to skin touching it. Therefore, glare galore.

I came across an intersection with a zebra crossing, while signaling a car "thank you" for allowing me to pass. Because of the glare and limited view due to lights surrounding me, I completely missed I was driving into an Island sandwhiched between pavements, where walking bystandards would walk if they wanted to pass between long seperate pavements.

Keep in mind, my scooter is capable of racing high speeds due to torque. I was a little trigger light on the accelerstion, but the electric scooter is capable of going 30 mph. And 50 mph on sport mode. I feel I was between 12 - 18 mph as I didn't see the accelerometer.

I smashed into the pavement resulting in an immediate halt. And went sky diving head first into the floor.

Guys. I felt absolutely NOTHING on my cranium. Or rather I felt a simple tap hitting against my head from a 15+ mph crash. I'm godsmacked I felt little to no impact there. I did twist my hand a bit, but thats already healing as I write this message.

Whats important was that I did a literal face-plant, and the helmet muscled through with ease. 6D is surely and adequately put, saved my life. Don't cheap out on helmets guys, these things are legit. They are worth every penny. What's your life worth?

Shout out to Reactive Parts for supplying these masterfully put-together helmets. Thanks to Leon from sales for assisting me regarding the fit and fitting of the helmet on the phone as I had thought I had intitially purchased a single size too big but was right the first time.

For reference, I had bought the 6D ATR-2. Should have bought the street version, the ats1 but these helmets did their job anyway.
