"Corrected the problem quickly and showed some techniques"

Corrected the problem quickly. Then spent time showing me how to do other things with the program. Walked me though some smaller issues I had and showed me me more things I could do/see. Also renamed the cameras so that they are easier to identify.

"Ripoff Company that ripoff old customers cause they can’t get new"

My wife and I were moving out of our home for 3 months so that we could have it remolded. Since we only had a few months left on our Fluent Security contract and wanting to take the remote box off the wall and have the holes filled I called them. I figured if I cut the wires it would send a bad signal I wanted to let them know. They told me they could put it on a few month’s hold and to call them when we moved back in. I told them we were going to continue to pay because we wanted to cancel and not renew. We continued to pay over the next two months. I called them and said we were back and no longer needed their serves. We sent them a letter of cancellation as well. We received a call after months from them stating that we never canceled to which I explained we sent a letter and we payed are moneys to the end of the contract. They said they never received a letter and asked where we sent it. They said the company moved. I mailed the letter where they told me to. The nasty gentleman was very rude and said he would have another area of the company call and they never did. Now two more months went by and now I hear from another rude and nasty women who basically called me a liar telling me the same bullcrap that there other caller said. Again saying someone from another department would call me. Look I don’t care who calls me I paid my entire contract and canceled the way I was told. LISTEN TO ME DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A RIPOFF

"All lies and no service"

From the moment the salesman stepped foot in our house he was spilling lies to us. Stating we could use our old equipment (lie) stating he’d cancel and cover our old contract (5 months we double paid, lie) stating we could cancel in the first seven days to just give him a call, he ignored our calls (lie) and customer service said well you signed the contract so nothing we can do. The last fire alarm we had it took 22 minutes for them to call us and didn’t two way the panel with our son. The house would’ve been burned down in 22 minutes! Fast forward to this month. Our CO2 detector started beeping. We replaced the battery and realized it was expired last year. They want $200 plus shipping to get us a new one. They don’t even cover as we’re paying $60 a month for nothing!!! They said they’d send out a technician, for a charge, or free if we sign for 3 more years. What a joke. You’ve done no monitoring you don’t cover your equipment and you have zero customer service!!! Don’t ever use this company.

"I was having serious problems with my…"

I was having serious problems with my internet provider and had to change providers. Every time I called Fluent, I was treated with respect. The technicians were very knowledgeable and helped me get my system functioning when I was not able to myself. They did this in short order. I was never put on hold for more than a couple of minutes. Far better service than any internet provider I have used. Many companies could take lessons from Fluent in this regard. Wasting customers time, also wastes customer’s money. Fluent has not done this to me.

"Dishonest"

I called in and asked to cancel the service which was out of the contract period as I was moving from the address with the service. I was told that it would be taken care of. I noticed a month later that I was still being billed.

When I called back to ask why I was still being billed they said that they did not get the call to cancel the service.

They then said I had to physically mail the cancellation request on a piece of paper. Likely they will say they never received it.

Do not use Fluent for your security system.

"Horrible exit experience"

After deciding I wanted to move to a new city, I wanted to cancel my contract with Fluent. I was informed that it would be no problem and they would help me when the time came. Fast forward to after selling the old home and buying a new one. I called Fluent again, and they said they could cancel the contract but I would have to pay out the entire contract price. Personally I could see paying out maybe half, but not the entire amount. That was 18 months ago. Now I am trying to prevent them from billing me month to month now that my contract is up, and the process is horrid. I had to wait on hold for around 20 minutes to talk to someone in retention, who told me what a simple FAQ could have told me. GET A CALL BACK SERVICE! In the end my phone call was just short of 35 minutes! To cancel an expiring contract. Would not recommend to anyone.

I've had several service calls with Fluent recently. The wait time has been almost nonexistent, and they were able to pinpoint and deal with the problem immediately. Very satisfied with their friendly and knowledgeable service.
