"Fluent has the absolute worst customer…"
Fluent has the absolute worst customer service!!! Try to get a technician out for a recall on our system they have no idea when that can be scheduled … want out of contract due to terrible service after 4 years they wont budge. Low Batteries that are not a normal battery in glass breaking alert can’t shut off ! I called asked them to turn off our system due to this annoying noise they can’t do that either.

"DO NOT USE FLUENT"
Fluent is a terrible company. I signed up with them for a 4 yr contract in 2018. We then got military orders to move out of state. Fluent would not let us out of our contract, even though we live on base, have no use for a security system, and are not allowed per base housing to install a security system. Not to mention, getting a hold of the correct people in the Fluent service department is near impossible, they don't call you back when they say they are going to. This whole process of trying to cancel our contract has taken over 2 months of ME CALLING THEM over 10 times.

"If i could give them minus 5 stars i would"
DO NOT SIGN UP WITH FLUENT ALARM. If i could give them -5 stars i would. This company is the worse company in the world. Hold times are 60+ minutes long, and then when you get through they give you a bunch of false promises that never come true. We have been trying to cancel them for months now with no resolution. They have to be process by "retention management" who you can't actually call in to. They call you and they don't, they don't read their notes. Call the wrong numbers and when you ask for a manager they won't allow you to speak to anyone else. Do not get into any contracts with this company. I am not even sure this company has anyone working for it, except customer service, which can't and won't do anything. Save your money and go with TELUS alarm.

"AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!"
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! Absolutely the worst service of ANY company I have ever dealt with, including ATT and Comcast. Over a 6 month period I spent close to 100 hours of my own time through phone calls, emails, and in-person visits to allow Fluent multiple chances to make my system work correctly and provide any type of adequate service. The only thing I received in return was a mix of apathy, ineptitude, and rudeness. After 6 months my system was still not reliable, and Fluent had the nerve to insist I pay for a new system out of my own pocket, in addition to the $60/month contract I was paying. They never saw another dime of my money, and they never will. I'll be shocked if they are still making money in 5 years.

"Twice the cost, half the service"
Fluent was our first experience with a home security service. We had to sign a 3.5 year contract to get "free" equipment. The equipment seemed fine whenever it would work. We consistently needed to call and have someone come out to get one piece of equipment or another back online and the garage door opener worked a grand total of 6 months the entire 3.5 years we had it.
When stuff was working, it was perfectly adequate. Though considering they we charging us double what I now know most other companies charge, adequate is insufficient.
The biggest reason for the low rating is that customer service when cancelling is as bad as Comcast. I cancelled 2 months in advance of our last contract day. Called them multiple time to confirm we were cancelled, only to have them charge me the following month, then refuse to let me talk to anyone who could give me a reason when I called. They only told me they put in the request for cancellation (which they supposedly already did months ago) and that someone would contact me.
If you have more money and time than you know what to do with, feel free to use Fluent. Otherwise, there are many other companies providing security services at a much more reasonable cost.

"Canceling them is a nightmare"
If i could give them zero stars i would. This company is the worse company in the world. Hold times are 40+ minutes long so who knows if they actually respond during a crisis. "Don’t waste your money on this company"
Fluent is so bad in canceling the contract. I called them Last July to cancel our home security and until now they haven’t cancel it. They keep taking money from our account but this time they won’t because we have to stop the payment from our bank. They said we have to wait for the resolution team to call us. It’s been almost 4 months and we never received a phone call from them. Customer service won’t give the Resolution team phone number so we can contact them. How can we cancel it if they don’t even call us. Seems like we ended up keep paying for the services we never used. What a SCAM! Please don’t sign up for this company and don’t waste your money on them.

"Predator sales people"
Predator sales people, my 80 year old mother in-law, whom has advance memory lose . Was easily talk into a security system. I call as soon as I found out. She told them she didn’t want it. The sales people show up the next day and convince her to keep it. I called and they did nothing. So 2 month later after my wife had power of attorney we called again and sent paperwork told them to cancel and still they are taken money out of hrr account.
They have NO MORALS AND ARE DISHONEST. Shame on them. Had to go to bank to cancel account. !

"With this company for 42 months, totally disappointed."
With this company for 42 months, Contract will be up November 24th 2021, totally disappointed with many things and reasons, Most of wireless devices they installed 42 months ago like glass break sensors, smoke alarms…will go off even I have replaced with new batteries, I have to manually mute them at least 5 times a day in the past months and still going on, when I looked at the back of all devices, it say “discard 2021” so this is how they lured you into another contract with them for all new sensors. When I called in number of times to terminate the contract when 24th of November up, there are ridiculous of customer service people that not willing to help you and wearing you out, I’m done! Most like I have to shut down my checking account because they deducted $42.99/monthly and I’m not allowing them to renew contract without my permission. You guys out there be careful, if you don’t do so like I planned to do, they will assume that you renewed contract with them. Go with Simply safe guys.
