Late update as I have had another hair transplant by a different company to fix what I had paid for

About 3-4 years ago I used the hair dr for a transplant I paid £5000 for 3000 grafts and barely got a 1000 grafts the crown, do not waste your hard earned money with this company, on the day of the transplant dr arshad quickly left the room and left it to 2 teenage understudys not once did he check on their work he was never seen again, I messaged the WhatsApp team after my transplant and said the crown area looks worse now there reply was "keep washing it you will see the results" do not trust this company once they have your hard earned money they don't care what happens next

Do your research and pick a good hair transplant company

11 months post surgery that cost 15000 pounds ,main points
1 the assessment was very quick and I had to pay the money upfront
2 the surgery was carried out by three young ladies , not questioning there ability ,but the doctor only came in the room for less then 2 minutes , would it have made a difference if he had a more hands on approach with his experience? really don't know
3 main point what I can tell you about for sure as a patient is the upparrel aftercare they advertise Adam ( hi Adam if you're reading this as I haven't heard from you in 6 months hope you're well) he will just send you WhatsApp message with shamo and alovera suggestions despite bleeding and percicent redness they just could not care less , l have had to dig myself out of this horrible aftermath , they have not lifted a finger to help so choose your clinic wisely make sour you know what exactly the aftercare procedure is ie they will get you back in for care and attention if things do take a turn for the worse hope this helps

"Awful results they are trying to avoid legal action now"

Having had the initial procedure almost 18 months ago and being extremely unhappy with the results as the hair did not "thicken" as they promised it would for a year and not only that there are areas totally missed on the temples I had no choice but to book in further work for which Dr Hamza Ahmed was trying to charge me a lot of money to repair work that quite frankly was substandard to say the least.

Having taken advice on the situation it was made clear I should not be paying for further procedures when it clearly was not carried out correctly in the first place.

Following this I was put in touch with Adam from the Hair Dr management team who wholly agreed the procedure was not carried out correctly he not only offered me a second treatment free of charge but also a years worth of after care also free of charge.

It was agreed on the phone call with Adam that there clearly was issues with the procedure and it had been noted that during the insertion of the follicles Dr Hamza Ahmed was hardly in the room at all, leaving it to 4 younger people to carry out the procedure. Adam expressed to me on the phone this was not acceptable and that Dr Hamza Ahmed should have been in the room for far more of the procedure and insisted on the second treatment that it would be overseen correctly to ensure there are better results.

Having agreed to the second procedure free of charge as quite frankly the results are embarrassing to say the least, I went there this morning and I was presented with an non disclosure agreement to sign that would legally remove all accountability and my rights to take legal action against the Hair Doctor in the future should the results from the second procedure not be acceptable, this was also taking away any rights for me to take legal action from the first procedure, furthermore I was expected to sign the agreement stating that in the eventuality the results were again substandard I would not be allowed to discuss this with anyone nor post reviews online and should I do so they would have the right to sue me the cost of the second procedure and for loss of earnings starting 12 months ago.

I do not think I need to say anymore, the facts speak for themselves.

"5 star experience "

After searching through internet and other sources for a suitable practice I found the Hair Dr. Set up a call and discussed the ins and outs of everything. Dr Hamzir was very helpful, clear of expectations and what to expect. I am so glad I picked them as the team was very polite and professional making me feel so comfortable on the day. They also send you home with an aftercare pack which is also very clear on what to do and not to do. They dedicate an entire day to working solely on you. I couldn’t be more happy and was completely pain free, apart from the injections as the beginning which feel like little bee stings. After couple minutes the pain is gone.

10 months post hair transplant and couldn’t be happier , from day one after the first consultation with sommiya I felt instantly comfortable with the hair Dr, Dr Arshad , his team and the facility’s were all 5 star , never once was I pressured it was left to when I was ready , anxiety and low mood have all but disappeared since my procedure and my confidence has slowly been coming back , social gatherings are no longer a problem, anybody thinking of a hair transplant give the hair dr a call and get some advice , best thing I’ve ever done

"Great free advice-honest answers"

I had been seriously considering a HT, but ended up going round in circles and being even more confused, due to all the conflicting advice.
Contacted Hair Dr, with a view to going in for a consultation with Dr Ahmed, as I live 5 minutes from the Beaconsfield branch.
Was asked to submit photos and history via WhatsApp for initial phone conversation with member of staff.
A very friendly and helpful lady called me back the next day (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name).
Without going into too much detail, she advised me that I was obviously very unsure about a HT at this stage (she was absolutely correct).
Sent me a link to 2 x medications that would help maintain my existing hair, whilst I mentally prepared myself to make a considered decision, rather than a reactive decision (which she could clearly see, even though I couldn’t).
I now have much more time to think this through, whilst hopefully not losing more hair in the meantime.
And if I decide to just live with what I have, at least the medication will help prolong it.
I was expecting to be steered towards a HT.
This lady has done the opposite, as she could see that I wasn’t ready at this stage, if at all.
She hasn’t even tried to sell me the medication either.
Yes, I can get it from them.
But I can also get it prescribed privately at a cheaper cost via an online pharmacy.
Which is incredibly honest of her, as she could have easily not sent me the link unless I agreed to purchase it from them.
I know the information about the medication is fairly easy to find online, but she explained quite a bit more about it that you wouldn’t necessarily work out from online information (at least, as far as my situation goes with regards to other medications I use)
This lady could tell that I was getting more and more confused by “researching” multiple sources.
She seemed to genuinely want to help me, without any ulterior motive of getting me to use their services.
I really appreciate her advice, and it’s very heartening to know that there are people like this who want to help others, rather than just taking money from them.

Dr Hamza and Team at the Hair Doctor Beaconsfield were incredible in this process from start to finish. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go through with the process but he took the time to meet me and discuss it all with me very objectively. His patient, calm manner and enthusiasm for delivering great results were evident from the offset.

The procedure itself was straight forward and I felt in good hands with Dr Hamza explaining it all to me as we went through. The clinic is really nice and they made the whole experience very comfortable.

And finally, the aftercare was 10/10. Dr Hamza was available on WhatsApp for any questions and actively asked me for updates of the donor and recipient areas following the procedure. I’m very pleased with the results so far and would highly recommend to anyone.
