I bought a 2023 Model Y Performance in October 2022 and received it 11/28/22. It is by far the best car I have ever owned. Quiet, fast, comfortable. With that said there are some issues that could be addressed. I am uncomfortable driving without a spare so I bought an after market one that I keep in the trunk. Unfortunately it takes up a lot of space. I occasionally tow a small boat and while "doable" the hitch compartment could be a little larger. It's difficult to get your hands inside to connect the chains, etc. My only real complaint is with the radio. The icons often move around forcing me to take my eyes off the road even more than usual. I often lose connection in areas where I never did in a conventional vehicle. If the radio is interrupted by a phone call when the call is ended the radio comes back on to where it was interrupted not to where it should be in real time. Then it stops and jumps to real time. Sometimes it's jarring. Also I cannot play my own music as there is no longer a port to connect to. Furthermore I cannot get AM radio so that I could listen to Laker games. I think that a lot of controls could be placed on the steering wheel so that you don't have to take your eyes off the road so much. It would help if the screen could be turned toward you as well.

As a major safety issue the car no longer has a proximity alert in the front and back. I find that a very necessary option to have. I have heard that it'll come in an update but I am beginning to have my doubts.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS WEBSITE. Their return policy does not state that there is shipping cost and customer service do not tell you that neither. Returned unopened, unused product after sending them photo of proof and getting approved. They charge $110 without saying anything and when asked, they said it is their burden to do refunds to customers when they do not state or let customers know about it when it is not stated under their policy. They say it is “default” practice of online websites to charge customers without stating or communicate it to customers. Basically, they are saying it is common sense, so it is customer’s fault even if we don’t state it under our policy. This could be possibly count as fraud charges since nothing is noted under their policy.

Update - I complained to the company and they immediately refunded my purchase and sent an apology. Still not happy with the product but I appreciate their customer service. Original review -> Just received my "Thermal Insulated Window Shades". Went to put them in and... These DO NOT fit my vehicle (2017 Model S). They are not even close to the shape of the windows. They are NOT thermal insulated. The stitching is already tearing so I can see light through the stitching holes. They look absolutely nothing like the images on the website - they aren't the same shape and layout and they have all this extra fabric just hanging around the edges. These are cheap pieces of Chinese crap that come directly from a cheap Chinese factory. Took 2 weeks to receive.

Avoid this China based company. They have a Google phone number they generated and have a fake Michigan address. They don't do refunds even though their website states they do for damaged goods received.
